It is listed in the Napa historic register and is elegantly nestled among other Victorian homes designed by one of Napa Valley’s renowned architects, Luther Turton, in the 1890s. In 2018 the house was extensively remodeled, creating an updated light filled home, which includes all the modern amenities while retaining its original Napa Victorian charm.

The Banks House provides an ideal base for your Napa visit. It is a short (10 minute) pleasant walk into downtown Napa and its acclaimed restaurants, wine tasting rooms, theaters, entertainment and shops. The house is a convenient two minute drive from Highway 29, providing access to the Up Valley Napa towns and wineries.

The Banks House has two bedrooms, each with a king size bed, and two new full bathrooms located on the upper level, and downstairs is a new large suite. The house can accommodate 6 overnight guests.

The home’s upper level provides a light filled open floor plan with distinctive Victorian era high ceilings, providing a wonderful setting for your group to enjoy time together. As you move through the seamlessly free-flowing layout that connects the living room, dining room and kitchen, you will enjoy sweeping views of the backyard garden and barn. The new kitchen and all new bathrooms feature white subway tile, stone countertops, state of the art appliances, sparkling new fixtures, gleaming hardwood floors and porcelain/marble floor tile.

The butler's pantry off the kitchen offers a wine refrigerator and another sink, which will be the hub of your wine tasting entertaining. The dining room and living room are invitingly furnished with plush, comfortable sofas, flat screen TV and a spacious farmhouse dining table, where you will gather for meals and conversation. For your comfort, the air conditioning and heating systems have two zones (upper level and lower level) to keep the home temperate.

Downstairs, you will enter through a rustic barn door, and find a large suite, which includes a living room with desk, flat screen TV and inviting sofa and swivel chairs, a king size bed and an adjoining bathroom with a beautiful farmhouse vanity with dual vessel sinks and a spacious shower with glass door.

Step out to the yard, and you will find yourself in an oasis: olive trees, lavender, trumpet vines, camellias and roses. At the far end, marvel at the historic barn next to the cozy al-fresco picnic table, where you will dine in complete shade. Hone your skills on the bocce court while being cheered by your family and friends as they sit alongside the bocce ball court. The garden lights create a magical, romantic setting in the evening.
