Nice, quaint facility in Napa. Staff helpful. Not your big box motel.
It was basic but had a very bad, musky smell coming from the sink and bath tub. It was fairly clean and quiet so that was good. I wouldn’t spend $200 a night here though. I think it’s worth more like $65-$100 tops!
I arrived later than expected, and even though it was past check-in hours, the host was extremely gracious and polite. After a long drive, a friendly face is always welcome!
The pictures did not at all represent how the actual property is in reality.
Decent property, but a little pricey.
Area was nice and close to plenty of food options. However the rooms were smaller then what it appeared in the picture. Also the walls were very thin, so you could hear your neighbors easily. Lastly and maybe most important, there were no open outlets available except near the bathroom so couldn’t charge our cellphones and smart watch easily or all at the same time.
The space inside the room is limited to move around, mainly for taking a shower and sleeping. The outside garden is well designed and maintained by Kay who we met on site. The inside is pergo flooring which is very clean and nice. There is no boxed tissues provided.
Very nice room at reasonable cost. Neighborhood very noisy at night.
This hotel was disgusting. The comforter on the bed was as thin as a paper towel and just about as comfortable. The entire room smelled the must and mold. And to make angers worse a couple was scream fighting for hours (well past 2 am) and the walls were so paper thin I could hear every single word of their argument. I guess that is what $200 a night in Napa gets you
All other hotels were sold out and staying here was last resort. The motel is located in an area that seems rough for Napa compare to the downtown scene. At night we didn't feel safe walking 7 minutes down the same street to the motel and ordered an Uber. The room was very very small and cramp. The room layout was odd because the vanity and sink were outside of the bathroom and you had to walk out of the bathroom past the bed to get to the sink to wash your hands after using the toilet. I also noticed the microwave and mini-fridge could not be plugged in at the same time due to the type of electric plug not fitting properly at the same time. The motel was stingy with their toiletries, thank goodness I brought my own.The room did appeared tidy with hard word floors and decent shower water pressure. We were only there for one night and spent most of our time away. For $200+ dollars, I won't stay here again and don't recommend others to. My phone call experience with the front desk prior to arriving was also disappointing. I had called with a question and the woman I spoke with seem high strung and short in response. Shortly after greeting, she put me to hold, but I could hear her ruffle through papers and doing something then talking to what i assume to be a customer. I felt her phone manners can be more professional and improve...at least mute the phone.
Reception was rule, rule rule... mold on the bathroom wall and floor.
It was convenient and clean! TV only had one channel and cups were not individually wrapped!
