The staff was helpful and so nice. My room was clean. In front of the property is a Denny’s for a quick breakfast. It’s about a 10 minute drive to the wharf and 15 to Cannery Row. I recommend this place!

I enjoyed this place because it was convenient to myself and family. I was able to get breakfast right across the street and when I needed pain meds CVS pharmacy was next door. Front lobby employees very friendly and I will recommend to my family and friends to stay here while visiting beautiful Monterey

I reserved the Super 8 near downtown Monterey across from the mall, so I could walk to restaurants and that property is on a quieter road. Unfortunately, I was put at the Super 8 on Freemont, where it is very loud and not very safe. Abandoned lots next door. I was told I could check in at 12pm. for an early check-in but couldn't until 230pm. The bed was clean but the floors were very dirty. My feet were black from walking on them. The TV had limited channels and was too small to even see from the bed. Noise all night from the street, planes and the walls being too thin. You get what you pay for, but it's not worth $130. if you can't sleep or relax. Would not stay again.
