This was my first time staying at a Pub/Hotel mix. I would definitely recommend it to people who are traveling light , as the stairs going up to the rental are narrow and winding. The manager of the hotel - Bhargav - was extremely helpful in making my stay comfortable and helping me arrange morning transportation to Paddington station. I can't thank him enough for the help and concern he showed towards me and my wife. He is a true asset to this establishment. I will definitely come back again - but with fewer bags

Avoid this one - 10:30check out and flight of stairs - torn curtains - dirty - carpets not vacuumed. Even though only 3 guests checking out wouldn’t give any extension even for payment - doesn’t need 5 hours between checkouts and check ins for cleaning 3 rooms. Just gave the impression don’t care about customers. Paintwork disgusting.

Despite some negative reviews I found this an entirely passable and even comfortable stay. It is an old pub so as with all old buildings it has some wear and tear but that’s part of the charm. Super location, owner is a complete champ! Would stay again for sure!

Check in was slow upon arrival, room small but adequate, some of the fixtures & fittings were loose or broken including a floor tile. But bed really comfortable & had a good night’s sleep as it’s a lovely quiet area & shower also good. No breakfast option which would have been handy.

This property done the job for us near the baker street ,,/Marylebone/edgware underground easy access from Liverpool Street station staff nice okay stairs would be an issue for older people but heyho look at Amsterdam stairs the hotel was quirky nice bar underneath food etc room was descent a bit small but done wot it says on the tin you want fancy you pay for fancy good shower though

Overall not a bad place. Maybe not so family friendly as it's over a pub & certain nights the music & people were loud. It is in a very good location. You can walk to many sites or easily get an Uber/taxi. Staff were very helpful & friendly.

Just a bed, no breakfast and little annoyances

There were a few things that tainted my stay. It was impossible to reach the hotel directly to change my check-in time either by phone or email, I used Hotels.com who sorted it out quickly. There was no breakfast as an option, despite the pictures on the advert showing so. In the room: bin wasn't emptied, plug was missing from the sink, remote control wasn't fully operational, no shower gel and broken fixtures to name the main ones. The staff were friendly and the pub was nice

Nice hotel

Friendly welcome, helpful staff. Nice pub below, not affected by noise. Be aware of narrow winding staircase to rooms if mobility problems, no lift.

The room was definitely in need of cleaning - stains on the carpet, blanket, and one of the pillows. Overall cleanliness was not great. The door downstairs to the restaurant is broken too. Not well cared for property.
