Have normally had good stays here but this time was in room 709. Working area was in a very dark corner of the room with no lights. They need to install a floor lamp or table lamp in that area. Triad move one of the bedside lamps but not a compatible plug in the area.

The location was perfect and you are able to walk to a lot of things and if you couldn't walk to what you wanted to see, you can catch a bus right around the corner. While the staff was helpful and the location was great, the street noise was a bit loud at times.

The property is very old, although they have renovated but floor was very noisy, sink was clogged all the time, shower didn’t have curtain, they don’t provide tooth creams. I paid extra to get superior room but the was very small with small windows that I asked reception to change it, although they argued a lot and delayed a day to give me another room which was not even better. Reception staff was not very friendly and but arguing, not open to change and pushing back for my request.

The hotel and the rooms are very old and outdated, and quite small. When we first checked in, the central heating and AC was broken so we only had hot air blowing for hours. As a remedy they provided us with an electric fan but even that was so dirty that it was blowing out dust bunnies. We were eventually moved to another room though and appreciated the evening managers quick accommodation to move us so late into the evening. I also did not like the hotel amenities and their lotion had a funky smell. The bathrooms are also outdated and small. If you’re looking for a hotel based on convenience to the Piccadilly location, go to the one with higher guest ratings as it’s more worth the price than The Dilly’s

I stayed at this property for a three nights. The hotel is old and desperately needs to be renovated. During my stay in March, the weather outside was in the 50's. My room remained a hot. I complained several times. A portable AC was provided which did not cool the room. I requested to be moved to another room. However, no other rooms were available. The day of my departure, I overheard another guest complaining of the same heat. I was not able to comfortably sleep at nights. I was very disappointed in this property. There is a fridge in the room but no microwave. I requested to warm an item downstairs and that is not allowed. The hotel is centrally located which is a positive. However, I will not be returning to this property.
