Ubicado en Westnedge Hill justo en el borde del centro de la ciudad. Sólo 1. 5 millas al corazón del centro de Kalamazoo. Es un colonial de 1926 con una rica historia. Bien cuidado y muy querido. Dos dormitorios en las escaleras y un tercero en el piso principal con un colchón de aire de matrimonio. Pisos de madera a lo largo. Cute house with a cozy feel! We stayed for UKC Premier! The Host was hard to get ahold of at times but would reply eventually. The yard was great, a cute porch and fireplace. The house was warmer than ideal especially upstairs but downstairs was cooler! The pantry was stocked with goodies when we got there! I would definitely stay there again!

Kalamazoo overnight

Although it was for only 1 night, we really enjoyed our stay. The house was the perfect size for myself and 2 friends, and we especially loved spending time on the back deck.

Wedding in Kalamazoo

The house met all our needs. The kitchen was well equipped. Backyard was fenced in for our dog. Our only issue was the loud traffic noise. All the bedrooms have windows facing the street. Recommend ear plugs if staying. Beds were comfortable and house was clean. Just a heads up the billing for the house has a different title. Same host, but billed under a different property name in Battle Creek.

Weekend stay

Everyman’s House served as convenient lodging for our weekend in K’zoo. We were fascinated by the background and significance of this house. It retains many of its historic features while providing modern conveniences. As mentioned, there was significant noise with heavy traffic use at certain times of the day.

Cute house, busy street

Jenny was great- very responsive & helpful, lots of good directions over message and in the house guide book on location. House is very cute, cozy, clean and well decorated. Lots of space. Only downside is the busy street- noise made it a bit harder to sleep.

Quaint and Comfortable Stay

My wife and I stayed at this wonderful place while attending a gift show. The location was perfect as was the accommodations. Our host Jenny was great and made sure we had everything we needed. Definitely would come back again.

We truly enjoyed our stay here for Westerns Parents weekend. Bonus is we were able to take our dog. Great back yard for our golden puppy. Close to the main road but overall great location. Thank you for letting us enjoy

graduation weekend

This was perfect for our stay during WMU graduation weekend. Very cute quaint old house. Loved the pictures and history. There is major construction on the road but it was not really an issue since we were there on the weekend. The fenced yard was great since we brought our dog.

Ladies weekend

Four of us came to Kalamazoo for a women's conference in downtown Kalamazoo. The house was perfect! Close to downtown but in a nice, quiet neighborhood. It was very comfortable.

Living history weekend

We were trades people at the Kalamazoo living history Trade Show and staying at the house was also like living in a little bit of history. We enjoy the uniqueness of the house and this being the second time we enjoyed the experience of staying there it didn't fail to enhance our weekend in Kalamazoo. Perfect stay!

We loved the Everyman's house! So much character and space for. We had everything we needed for our NYE stay in Kalamazoo. The neighborhood is a safe and close to downtown. Jenny was the best host!!

Great place especially if you have a dog

Cozy place that worked out great for our early family Christmas. Traffic was noisy so bring ear plugs and you'll have no issues. Host was great, easy check in and out and close to lots of shops/restaurants in Kzoo. Nice fenced in yard for our dog to run around too.

Tried to charge bogus fees, no check out info, payment issues, non responsive. False claims, condesc

Had problems with second payment going through. Tried to contact owner and was giving a payment source that doesn’t exist. Contacted VRBO and they couldn’t help because the owner uses their own charging system which I was not comfortable with. I ended up paying it anyhow. I had to bequest check in instructions as they were not sent. I paid for early check in and was not refunded even though we did not arrive early. The home is located on a very busy street but that was explained. The home is drafty and the road noise is loud but I was prepared for that from reading previous reviews. We could not locate the thermostat so we bundled up. We received the pet document that states pets are not allowed in furniture, beds etc and that you must bring your own blanket for them. We did so as well as brought the dog bed. Although the property states pet friendly, they most definitely are not nor is the stairs and flooring conducive for pets. There were no check out instructions provided. Despite this, we left the home in immaculate condition as we travel frequently and applied instructions from other homes here. Today I received a $350 attempt on my card and a $95 attempt from “Sand Lake Cottages” I did not identify this and thankfully I have good protection on my credit card, otherwise these would have gone through. I googled the company and turns out it was this property trying to charge me with claims that the home was left in one of the worst conditions?! Beyond untrue! Beware!
