I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the admiral Inn, the room I had had a patio, which was unique and wonderful to be able to step out too. The room had fridge in a microwave and a working washroom, which was wonderful when that’s all you have :-) they also provide a close washer and dryer so that a long day doesn’t have to require a shopping trip.

When I called and said I was a delayed flight wouldn’t be there till 1:30 in the morning. I was able to check out late. The room is clean. The bed was super comfy. I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful is my second day here, so I’ll definitely be back again before I head back out of Ontario.

Check-in was easy and staff courteous. Room was ok - pillows seemed old and super lumpy, and the room had a STRONG smell of tobacco from previous guests. Every day it was bad - despite leaving windows open, etc. Coffee pot hadn't been cleaned in a while. Overall it wasn't bad - just not good enough for a return.

We’ve been coming to this hotel when we need a place to stay all the time. This is the first year we recognize a lot of difference from previous days we had there. Firstly, the hotel still did not get any kind of renovations as I mentioned in the past it’s still very old looking and not up-to-date in the room or in the lobby or in the dining room. Secondly, the reason why we loved staying here it’s because of the great hot meals breakfast every morning BUT this time it wasn’t great at all. It’s not the same chef because I know I spoke to that chef years ago in person and she was phenomenal and I think she has opened up her own business up north and good for her. But whoever took over the kitchen for breakfast daily is not up to par. We were disappointed it was the same food every day and it wasn’t appetizing like before. I’m pretty easy-going with things but this time I’m quite disappointed at my stay at this hotel, which was a four star to me in the past and now I gave it a two star because it doesn’t have that reading. I think it should have. The price was good for the stay, but it needs major renovations and they need to change up the meals for breakfast every day or every two days because it gets sickening plus the eggs scrambled eggs sorry is very dry Not the same chef. I can see the one that has a younger caterer chef the eggs scrambled is very dry. But the African or Jamaican women, she was good and friendly. The others were not friendly at all. I have to say.
