So many great things about this hotel. Price was good, especially for the quality of the room. Room was clean, quiet, in good repair and nicely laid out... and best of all, everything worked! Lobby was spacious and attractive with sitting area and faux fireplace. Staff was friendly and helpful.. Breakfast was surprisingly good with scrambled eggs (these were good, not the usual over-cooked dry lumps), bacon, sausage and all the other things you'd expect, waffles, cereal etc. Highly recommended.
My son needed a hotel to stay at because the Quality Hotel would not allow him to stay due to the fact he was using my wife’s credit card and is only 18yrs. He was in Burlington teaching a course. It was -22 outside and I live 1.5hrs away. The management there said that there is nothing they can do. I called the Comfort Inn and Jackee of guest services was absolutely accommodating. She had me sign a release over email and had a room ready when my son when he arrived. He said he loved it there and breakfast was great! Thanks again Jackee and the Comfort Inn for your great service!
Completely ordinary roadside hotel. Dull, inexpensive, clean enough, good bed. Good access from both QEW (main area highway) and the City of Burlington. If you need a place to stay in Burlington, this is a good choice. Just don't expect any frills. We had a room facing the highway, it was quiet enough despite a lot of traffic (good soundproofing). The breakfast is a standard Comfort Inn hot breakfast: scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, cold boiled eggs, waffle machine, some cereals, yogurts, pastries, tea and coffee.
The room was clean and well-appointed. The bed was very comfortable with a good selection of pillows. The shower had good water pressure. There was a coffee maker, small fridge and microwave in the room. The breakfast offered decent variety and good quality. This is a highway hotel, convenient for travel through the Golden Horseshoe, but the surrounding area does not offer much of interest. It was perfect for our base of operations and I will stay here again.
nice place right off the highway. good breakfast, the coffee was better at breakfast than what was in the room for sure. the shower was great, the bathroom was really small. the bed was super mushy and neither of us liked it. but I prefer a hard mattress and that is next to impossible to find at hotels anymore, they all have mushy pillow tops. the staff is amazing.
Pros: convenient location, comfortable beds, clean rooms, friendly front desk staff, nice breakfast options. Cons: no elevator, room ac unit was marginally effective on a not-so-hot stay, breakfast start time is 6:30(later than I prefer), plenty of highway noise with front facing room. Overall the hotel was further away from my preferred spot and the lack of an elevator is a problem. I would still consider this hotel in the future if 1st floor available and a room away from the highway.
This was a quick one night stop over between destinations. My husband and I drove here from the Toronto airport at night (a crazy experience in itself) and then found lots of construction near the hotel making the roads hard to navigate, and see, in the dark. The hotel is parallel to the highway so quite a bit of noise although if you keep the fan on all night it helps. The appearance was clean but this non-smoking room had a definite smoky smell and the bed was creaky. Nothing terrible but not especially comforting either.
We stayed hereon a Friday night to attend a wedding and paid $139 plus tax for the night and a hot complimentary breakfast. The room was clean and comfortable with a king bed, microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker and free wifi. The service was fast and friendly in all aspects. The breakfast was great we had scrambles eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles that you cook yourself, fresh juices, coffee and tea. They also had a variety of cereals, pastries, breads and bagels. The hotel was close to everything. The only drawback I could see was that this is a two story hotel with no elevator so if you have a hard time with stairs, ask for the ground level. I highly recommend.
A bit of road construction going on but easy access. Rooms were nice and clean and the continental breakfast was as expected and you could make a waffle if you'd like. A couple hot items, cereal, fruit, pastries and Coffee!
As a family of 13, we were in Burlington to attend a wedding. We all able to have rooms together on the main floor, which was important as one of our party members could not do stairs. The rooms were very clean, the breakfast offered each day was excellent and the staff were wonderful too. Very friendly and very accommodating! Beds were super comfy too! An excellent price as well.
