Everything about this property is outstanding from the gorgeous gardens and the comfortable onsen to the helpful staff and convenient location with shuttle into town. Hotel was set against beautiful mountains with green lush landscape all around. The onsen was a wonderful treat at the beginning and end of each day. Rooms were traditional and clean with very nice bathroom toiletries. The food was amazing and delicious. Service was friendly and attentive.

We stayed in a private open-air villa and had an amazing time. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and the food quality was excellent. It was a perfect traditional Japanese experience.

Nice place, but dinner and breakfast take very long (traditional but long). It was overall an amazing experience, but the place is slightly old and in the rooms you can see marks on walls.
