Wow! Beautiful outdoor space invites you in and the home itself continues to impress. It's very clean , modern , spacious and comfortable . Beds are comfortable . Again , so clean ! Kitchen comes with coffee maker , coffee and Keirig and pods . Sugar and creamer too ! What a treat especially for the first morning when you hadn't had time to stick with your favorites .

This home was absolutely amazing. Clean, easy to find and very comfortable. The outdoor gas firepit was very cozy on these cool Autumn evenings. Staying in an original civil war home added to the experience as that is the reason we came to Gettysburg from Connecticut.

House was perfect, great location and so much personality and charm. Plenty of space, lots of bathrooms, great for 5 women. Loved the fire pit! Our host was exceedingly accommodating to our requests, and quickly came to our rescue when we mismanaged the lock on the back door. A great experience, would recommend to anyone.

The photos do not do this place justice. This is five star stay for sure. The outdoor area is so fun and comfortable. The inside is fabulous for groups or parties of 6 to 8 . The 4 bathrooms were immaculate. I would definitely recommend this historic in the heart of Gettysburg.

This a beautiful modernized Civil War house that just seems to keep going. Tons of room and the place is very well-kept and welcoming. The backyard is spacious with comfortable accommodations (plus parking) and you're right downtown in walk-around Gettysburg. Perfect for a weekend stay, or longer.

The parking was excellent the house was incredible, better than we anticipated. The owner contacted us to offer early access without us even asking. We wanted for nothing. And evenings around the fire pit were extraordinary.

The house is beautiful and very clean. There were 8 of us, so having 4 bathrooms was a big plus. The kitchen was small for 8…….needed more chairs, but overall, the house was very spacious. The location was within walking walking distance of almost everything we wanted to do. Outside sitting area was used after every day’s activities! Would definitely stay again.

This was an amazing home. Our group of six women enjoyed our stay in this historic Civil War house. Beautiful outdoor patio with fire pits, clean with all the amenities you need. Walking distance to restaurants and shops in Gettysburg. I will be returning to this home.

Beautiful historic property!

We loved this beautifully appointed home. It was perfect for our family from grandparents to teens. The home was spotless and had huge bedroom suites to enjoy. We especially appreciated the main floor bedroom and bathroom suite, the 4 full bathrooms, the modern touches while anlso blending with the original charm, the fans, along with the well stocked kitchen. The outdoor space was beautiful; it was just unfortunately too hot to use this time. The location was perfect, walkable to dining and shops. We left our coins in the wall! We would highly recommend for a larger group trip to Gettysburg. Tiny suggestion would be maybe including a bench, slightly larger table, or more chairs to add seating to the kitchen. Amazing home!!

Great stay in Gettysburg!

We stayed in the Stone House for our extended family vacation. We had a great time. The space was large enough to meet our needs - especially since one of the adults uses a wheelchair at all times. The entire downstairs was accessible and the bed and bathroom were well thought out. The kitchen was well furnished with plates, coffee pot(s) tea options and pans. The outside space is also beautiful with lots of room to seat everyone and for the kids to enjoy a green space. Thank you so much for thinking of everything!
