Loved how close the motel was to town and battlefield. One reason I chose this motel was because of the two swimming pools. When I asked about using the inside pool as it was starting to rain, they told me it was only opened in inclement weather, and as it wasn't a downpour it wouldn't be opened.

they had a lovely pool but it was kind of green in areas. from having a pool i know how hard it can be to get the water crystal clear but...that was kind of gross...the hotel was clean but a little dated but super cheap and in a great location. we had a problem with the door not locking behind us well. they came and fixed it but it still wasn’t great. three beds was great for our family of five though. but the bathroom was a little tight for all of us...

Dog friendly. Great location with very helpful staff.

Extremely noisy air conditioner. They sent maintenance but we were told that the unit was old and would make that noise. Not much sleep!!!

Perfect location. After driving through battlefield we exited and were right by the hotel. Good breakfast, pool. Not a fancy room, small bathroom, but comfortable and a great price.

This hotel had a great location, charming breakfast cottage and wonderful staff. The rooms are comfortable, but in need of updating. It is a simple basic hotel, nothing fancy, but the staff is really helpful and it has a great location.

Beautiful room with easy access / walking distance to great restaurants. The room was very clean and up to date. The clerk at check in was wonderful. She immediately found me a downstairs room when I told her I was traveling with an elderly parent (even though I had to pay an upcharge). The area is easily accessible. The breakfast was not all it was told to be, just the usual continential fare we have become accustomed to. Which, that could be a cultural difference. In the South when we say buffet, we picture a long table full of anything you could want to eat. (LOL) This will be my new "go-to" hotel when I visit Gettysburg.

Excellent location, good hotel, great staff, except... breakfast is a disaster - more like a junior school lunch room.

Very friendly staff, easy to find, close to Gettysburg battlefield, attractive setting for breakfast

We loved the location right next to Gettysburg Cemetery, walking distance to restaurants. Helpful staff. Full breakfast.

Great location for walking to the battlefield and cemetery area. Easy drive to the visitor center. Good food options within walking distance and many shops right off the property.

breakfast was not a good value at all. the Hotel was very basic ..not updated but was close to down town

I went to the area for the 150th anniversay of Lincoln's Gettysburg speech and what an amazing experience I had. This hotel provided the perfect location for the official ceremonies as it took me all of a 3 min walk to get there. The staff was one of a kind, breakfast each morning was great, and the room was very comfortable. wlking distance to many of the attractions/museums in the area and a very short drive to the center of town.

Decent place to stay could use some remodeling in the bathroom. Price seemed a bit high for the room during the off season.

We stayed here for three nights in Sept so we could explore the Gettysburg area. The location was perfect as it was literally right next to the Gettysburg Military Park. The room was clean and accommodated our needs perfectly. It had a small breakfast but included both hot and cold choices. We will definitely stay here again.

The bed....oh goodness the bed. It was hard as a rock. The pillows, they are roughly the size of your head, and nothing more, so don't expect those to be comfortable either. My husband and I were fighting over them because the were so small. We joked because there was a sign on the bed stating how they knew how important a nights sleep was, so the mattress was supposedly wonderful and so were the pillows...um, nope. The rooms could use some updates, but that's the least of their issues. The free breakfast was lacking. The only hot food they had were sausage rounds and weird looking round fake egg patties....no thanks. We passed on a free breakfast, that's how lacking it was! When I come back to the Gettysburg area, I can guarantee you I will not be staying here again.

We had wanted to stay at this hotel for a long time because of its great location. The room was clean and comfortable however, the bathroom was very small and the toilet was way too low. We stayed here the beginning of April so we had one warm day and one wintery day. The outside stairs are ceramic tile so when it was wet they were very slippery. Not a great choice! Overall, a decent motel with the exception of the bathroom and stairs.
