Everything about our stay at The Brafferton Inn was superb. The hosts are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the history of the area. The location is probably the best I have seen in Gettysburg. Breakfast was lovely! We will be returning.

terrific hosts make a great b&b

we wanted historic and got it. it was a very hot day, so any respite was good, and any annoyance would have been significant. fortunately, ez and comfortable. these hosts are from Boston, so it has New England laid back intelligence and class. the property itself is interesting. all the rooms looked interesting. the breakfast was maybe too much, though some probably like it that way. i think they could go lighter, though it's an impressive show and they are morning people! if you want to nitpick, some of the bulbs were mismatched, which is an easy fix (maybe deliberate diversity). when you like the people who are working hard, you want to pitch in! certainly the best b&b ever for us, and best gettysburg lodging option (last time i was on the circle with a hot tub, but this is better, and well priced). i wish i were there now sitting in the parlor room in an old chair with the local paper and coffee enjoying the ambience.

This family run bed & breakfast is a true gem! Located in the heart of Gettysburg in a historic building with antique decore that transports you to a different era. They treat you like royalty with a delicious home cooked breakfast made to order. They accommodated my GF diet restrictions and offered delicious pastries. My room was beautifully decorated, very clean and comfortable. They helped me with luggage since I stayed at the Eisenhower room on the 3rd floor of adjacent building. Parking was easy, convenient and free. I’ll be back on my next visit to Gettysburg!

Amazing stay

We booked this one night stay at the end of our Kid-free trip and it didn’t disappoint. The owners were waiting for us, checked us and gave us a tour and history of the place. Room was amazing, location was right down town within walking distance of everything. Chocolate chip cookies were amazing. Breakfast was Devine. Can not say enough about this inn. We will definitely be back.

Innkeepers really were great. We had an enormous amount of issues traveling and checked in late. they left a note on the door for us, and were so relieved. Location was so nice to be by the downtown /historic district. We loved it ! if you can't do stairs, might want to let the innkeepers know. breakfast was amazing. We wish we could have stayed longer. We loved it!

The Brafferton Inn is old but really cool. It was close to everything we wanted to see. The staff were wonderful and Brian was a great host and a wonderful chef. The breakfast was delicious! I would recommend this B&B for your stay in Gettysburg.

Absolutely would stay here again! Location was perfect! Walkable to everything we wanted to see and do. Parking was provided. Now let me brag about the owners, incredible host! We were very impressed with their knowledge of the area. Tour of the building and an excellent breakfast cooked by them personally. I highly recommend booking your stay!
