Nothing in rooms except TV. No coffee makers, no microwave, pillows were flat, sheets an bedspread was worn an dirty. Only 4 hangers for 2 people. Never to return.

I did not pay for this trip and was incorrectly charged to my debot card i called hotel an informed them. . . an sent emqils to orbitz an colton motel in gettysburg ,Pa

We stayed at the Colton in 2013 and went back in 2016. perfect location. Very friendly staff.

Walking distance to all attractions. Inexpensive, just don't expect too much. It's a basic room and bath, but it's clean, quite and comfortable. It was good enough for me to come back a second time, and i'll stay there again next year...

Location of the motel was within walking distance of shops, dining places and battlefields.

Staff was very nice. Rooms need updating. Location of Motel is perfect location for all activities in Gettysburg.

Was a little disappointed upon checking in I had booked a room with double beds and was told I was getting one bed after checking they said there was a cancellation so I could take that with double beds.I booked 3 months in advance. I was also told last time I stayed there they have no refrigerator they would be getting them in. This time no refrigerator only to diabetics.

The motel is located in the heart of town and is within walking distance of the main shopping areas and the park.. I went for Remembrance day, and it is right on the parade route. The person at the front desk was helpful and friendly. Don't count on eating breakfast there, it's just coffee and danish. Rooms are adequate and clean, no frills, so plan to spend the day out and about. The heater keeps going on and off all night and hard to control.

The headboard kept coming off the wall. Has a portable heater for heat. Room smelled musty. Internet did not work. Parking spaces are not numbered so someone else was parked in our spot for 2 of the 3 nights we were there. The bed was not comfortable at all.

The room was clean, if a bit run down. The pillows were lumpy. The window didn't close all the way which made the heat turn on every 3-5 minutes. The bed was comfortable. The carpet seemed newer. The man from the front desk was very abrupt, never actually welcomed us. He simply took the confirmation slip from my hand and said whatcha got there. The bathroom fixtures were eroded in spots. Continental breakfast was all but nonexistent consisting of coffee and Little Debbie style pre-packed danishes. No fruit or juice, and no milk for the coffee. Overall, it was simply a place to crash.

Decent, adequate, average place to stay if you just need a place to sleep overnight. The location is great. Old property. You get what you pay for.

Clean room, old and needs remodel. Staff was friendly. mattress was worn but clean. I have to go to walmart and buy a pillow. The pillows provided were old, small, thin and not worth sleeping on. The location was great but there was massive road construction in front of the motel and it was hard to get in and out.

It was just a couple of blocks from the NPS visitor Center, which is what we wanted.

Great, old school style place, just what a person needed for a quick trip to Gettysburg. Would stay again

This motel has the basics, and if that's all you need, it will do. If you want to stay close to the battlefield and be able to walk around, then it will work. However don't expect any 21st century amenities. This place is straight out of the 50-60's era. The only complaint was the night clerk didn't write me down for a two night stay on the card. The day clerk let a woman use my rooms bathroom because there wasn't anyone staying in it according to the card. I wasn't in my room at the time, but I had just pulled in the parking lot when I saw her going into my room. This woman felt extremely embarrassed when she saw my luggage in the room. The day clerk was very apologetic for the mix up and promptly marked my card that I was staying that night.

Its one of the older Hotels in the town. Its very old school, the rooms all still have regular keys. Its location was perfect for our needs and it provided everything we required, in a quaint and retro sort of way the price was right

Good: the room didn't smell, was clean, mattresses firm and comfortable, we slept well. Location convenient, parking right outside of room. Bad: Room very dark, towels thin and small, no fresh soap the second day, it is difficult using a sliver that's left after one shower. Soap bars were tiny, dated CRT TV, WiFi did not work - unable to connect to internet on any of 3 devices, phone, table or computer. Directions on connecting from staff did not work, they didn't seem to care to investigate further. Furniture and decor dated and worn, no alarm clock. Shower handle loose, advised housekeeper, nothing was done. For a few dollars more there are nicer places nearby. This property is overpriced for what it is, but adequate in a pinch if no vacancies are available elsewhere.

Located toward the edge of downtown Gettysburg, very convenient to tourist sites, restaurants and battlefield. Motel somewhat rundown, room ready for a makeover. Room not too well cleaned and toilet ran noisily 24/7 and not fixed during our 3 day visit, even after pointing this out to maintenance man. But you get what you pay for. Very reasonably priced for the location. Friendly staff. The swinging bench outside all rooms perfect for reading on a warm late summer evening and watching the sun set. If you are a runner, battlefield horse trails withing running distance of motel.

furniture is old ,needs to be replaced. the carpets in and out side are discusting

The room was nice and comfortable. Great location. Staff was helpful and friendly.
