Wyndham Gettysburg

3.5 out of 5.0

Recent guest reviews

Hotel is in the middle of nowhere. Apparently a failed development near Gettysburg. Miles out of town with absolutely nothing to do although advertised as near the heart of town. Had to break up staff discussion at check-in although I think we might have been the only guests at this large but eerily quiet ghost town. We found the "complimentary" bottles of water half empty, internet service to be spotty at best and requiring a reboot each time accessed. Inquired about breakfast in the morning and was told by a recent hire (maybe that morning) that breakfast would be served starting at 6:30 and to come back. It was 7:10 at the time. We left immediately and had a nice breakfast at Perkins and kept on going.

It was one of my best hotels I stayed at and services where awesome, room's are big and comfortable.

Very nice room and staff were friendly and helpful. Beautiful hotel!

third time stay here. excellent all. large rooms. great staff. great restaurant, manager and servers all great. a lot of parking, and beautifully decorated fitting to Gettysburg. hersheys hotel too expensive this one is only an hour away and well priced .

The hotel was very nice and clean. They did not charge us for the microwave, but the refrigerator was making a noise!!

beautiful and clean. staff are helpful. extremely well decorated based on history. plenty of parking, excellent restaurant and food. great for family or get away vacations.

Stay at the Wyndham every Thanksgiving holiday. Always a great experience - nice pool too.

The staff at Wyndham is outstanding. We like to travel with our dog (10 yr old black lab), an the Wyndham is accommodating. One evening, something spooked the dock, and he started to bark. The Hotel called me right away and asked if it was OK to check on him...He was OK, however, they took the trouble to take him out for a quick walk and let him stay at the front desk until we finished dinner and could get back to the hotel...he was treated like a king! We also had dinner at the Hotel's Dining room on Saturday night. We were in town for Parent's weekend at Gettysburg College Parent's Weekend (our son is a Senior, so we have stayed at the Wyndham on a number of occasions). The number in our dinner party shifted around a number of times, so we needed to amend the reservations accordingly. The Dining Room manager and his staff could not have been more helpful and understanding.

Had a very nice stay. One thing that needs attention though is the bathtub/shower. The bathtub was very slippery. Really needs something to make it safe.

Great hotel, well worth the price , very nice furniture and pictures in lobby and first floor

Staff and facility were great. Bed was disgusting. Dirty sheets, you could feel hard bed coils when laying down. Yuck!

Stayed before. Always have a great stay. Quiet. Nice staff.

Fine hotel in a great location. The only negative is poor WIFI service. The desk clerk agreed that the service was poor but the staff could not resolve the problem.

Great rate for a very nice room. Love the hot tub. Wish breakfast was included, though. Snack machines were hard to find. Overall nice stay!

Very nice, great room service, big room. Downfall was a couch bed with crumpled dirty sheets and we were locked out of our room even though we had an hour left until our check out. Two small inconveniences in an otherwise great place.

Very nice, clean hotel. My children loved the pool.

Traveled for work. The staff was truly friendly and so very helpful. The facility was gorgeous, clean, beautifully appointed with a lovely pool, gym and truly wonderful restaurant. Would highly recommend this place, and will stay again when I return to the area.

Room was clean and spacious. Pool and hot tub were a huge hit with the boys. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would stay here again

My fiancee and I stayed at the Wyndham Gettysburg hotel for our short trip to Gettysburg. The hotel was beautiful, room was always clean, pool and whirlpool was great. I've enjoyed staying at the Wyndham hotel line and will continue to book there in the future.

This hotel is very nice and clean. My kids had a great time. The pool was very nice and clean. Can't wait to go back.
