Great!. The breakfast even had eggs and sausage. room was clean and it was right next to attractions

Nice hotel Clean with great location But spent so much time trying to connect to wifi Even staff couldn't help me

Great experience, as always. Nice room, friendly and helpful staff, very good buffet breakfast, and premiere location -- all at a most reasonable price! Note: Reserve directly by phone so that you can request the location of your room. Ask for a room in front. If none is available, then ask for a room facing the pool. That covers a majority of the rooms, and you can do no wrong with any of them. (The only rooms I recommend you try to avoid are the rooms in back facing a rooftop full of what looks like heating ducts. And if you end up with one of them, it's still worth staying here, as all you have to do is close your curtains.)

Hotel was nice. Easy, free parking. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was ok, but the lady that was responsible for the breakfast room closed the door at 10 sharp and started clearing the breakfast items while we were still eating. That kinda made us feel like we had to rush and, of course, no chance for seconds, even though there was plenty of food left. Not a bad experience overall! I think it was worth the money.

Clean room and it looked recently updated. We were very happy with the location. The staff was very helpful! I would definitely recommend to my friends and family and would stay there again.

We were very pleased with everything. The rooms were clean, well designed and well equipped. It was a very pleasant staff. We would stay there again.

good overall quiet room , clean, free breakfast not great , but good places near by

Good location, decent room, bad wifi reception...overall we were pleased

The hotel was very nice, exceptionally clean and in a perfect location for all of us and why we were there. We loved the whole town. We did the bus tour of the battle field, and then loved that we could walk everywhere else. The town of Gettysburg is wonderful.

Hotel was excellent, location was perfect. The Civil War diorama followed by the bus tour were an excellent combination to understand the battle. Not a lot to do after dinner in the evenings. Only negative: furniture at the pool was terribly uncomfortable. One might feel a little guilt however looking for vacation fun and comfort in a place where so many lost their lives.

stayed there on our road trip back a second time, loved it

Location is terrific and acess to town is closeby and walking distance.

The hotel is within walking distance of several historic sites as well as museums and gift shops. The area is somewhat congested, including the parking lot which is very tight. The room was clean and comfortable.

Great location. Perfect, In the middle of the whole town.

Well done version of a classic motel albeit in a five story building. You have seen the room before but these are not perfumed to cover up previous smokers. Breakfast is abundant but won't make you jump for joy. Excellent coffee a block away. Very well located.

We decided at the last minute to take an overnight trip. We were lucky to snag a room at 1863 Inn. The staff is fantastic and very welcoming. The location is excellent if you are there to tour battlefield and enjoy downtown shops. Everything was a short walk including several nice places to eat.

We had a great experience at 1863 Inn. The location was perfect-close to everything, we walked to many of the things we wanted to do/see. Great breakfast each morning. We used the pool daily and it was very clean. My only minor issue was the time the room was cleaned each day-we came back from an outing at 2:00 and needed to give our daughter a nap, and the room still hadn't been cleaned for the day. we put the 'privacy please" sign up, and then the phone rang during our daughter's nap to ask if we needed towels. We appreciated the call but would have preferred the room was cleaned before her nap, while we were out. We will definitely be back here, hopefully soon!

This is our 2nd year in a row staying at this hotel. Great experience both times. Came this year for the 151st reenactment. Clean rooms, very friendly staff, excellent breakfast with a large selection, and the hotel is in the middle of everything, very convenient and within walking distance to downtown, restaurants, museums, historic houses, etc. If you stay in the Summer, the pool is great also and very clean! A great plus if you have children or just want to put your feet up and relax and imagine all that happened right where you are sitting some 150+ years ago! We plan on definitely staying here again when we come back, which is hopefully soon!!

When visiting Gettysburg it's always a great part of the experience to walk around the town. Our stay at 1863 put us right on the main rode of shopping and food. The room was very clean but the outdated bedding gave it a worn out feel. Staff and free breakfast were great. Refresh bedding and this would be the perfect place to stay.

We were only in town one night but had a great time and the location of the hotel is the best, friendly and helpful staff and very clean room! We will definitely be back!
