Everyone was pleasant. Building and room was spotless. Very much enjoyed my stay and would return.

The staff was great and very helpful guiding us to all local attractions. Our room was very comfortable.

Staff was the best I have ever had in a hotel...EVER. Breakfast was also the best and with free dinner each night you can't beat the value. So much to see and do within a few miles. I was upgraded to the adjoining hotel (Aspire) since the pool was closed for maintenance. I was aware of pool maintenance before arriving. Management answered my questions about it the whole week before, and very quickly! Joe the manager. ..awesome. Debbie the wait staff...awesome. Everyone was very friendly but they went above and beyond. Definitely will be back!

For the wintertime room rate that we paid, this was a great value, especially given the free breakfast and dinner.

The continental breakfast is beyond belief! I've never stayed at a hotel that had so many choices for the breakfast. Only 10 min to ski slopes! Very nice pool too!

Hotel meals were very good. Check in was easy,. Staff was friendly. Room was clean. Pool area was really nice.

The place is in definite need of renovation. The facilities look like the 1970's. The staff was friendly, Breakfast was very good. The free supper was not the greatest but it was free so I am not complaining. We had a poolside room which was a nice location. The locks and deadbolts were not very sturdy looking.

creepy at best..cross between the Bates Hotel and the Shining

The facility is large and in process of remodel. we were in overflow rooms which are dated but clean. The outside hall smelled a bit musty. the remodeled areas are very nice. A big benefit is breakfast and dinner buffet that is included. not a huge choice but convenient, OK quality and saves money. the staff and management were friendly and helpful significantly above average. The facility is convenient to the Gettysburg site and battle fields. Indoor pool not heated but I swam daily. Pool area could use some updating but the pool is clean and was a nice additional feature. I would go back

We arrived and there was a sign outside to check in at the Aspire hotel next door. We were told we were upgraded from 2 rooms a King bed and 1 room with 2 Queens to 3 rooms with 2 Kings in the Aspire hotel. The hotels share many services, including pool, gym, restaurant and lounge. Free limited dinner buffet and breakfast were included in our deals. From what i glimpsed of the rooms, the onesin the Actual Eisenhower are smaller and older decor. The hallways in the Eisenhower were definitely darker. Many of them overlook the pool area. The pool was in a nice atrium with window/glass roof so it felt like u were outside. The staff, particularly Thomas at check in and the hostess at dinner/breakfast were very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again for a good deal, preferibly on the Aspire side, but the Eisnehower seemed ok too.

Some reviewers mentioned that the stay was at the Aspire Hotel and not the Eisenhower and that the Formica on the counter was chipped. To this I say, "not a big deal." What is most important was the GIANT room. It was clean and pleasantly appointed with a microwave and fridge. The bed was comfortable (although I did not like the pillows-- must remember to bring my own). The lobby was also spacious. The furniture was newer. The staff were nice and the food was very good. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends.

One of my main criteria in any hotel is internet services. Here the internet did not work in my room or in the lobby of the building I was in. To use the internet I had to go to the restaurant in the main building which was not convenient. Service everywhere was great and the attitude of the people was very positive. Many times trying to help but not always in a position to do so, such as advice on places to go.

We were up graded to the adjoining hotel and were very impressed with the size of the room we stayed in

Very pleasant staff. Great place to visit during any time of the year.

The staff is friendly and out-going. The location is nice. However, this property is in need of serious and complete upgrades. The bed and pillow in my room were extremely uncomfortable. The former felt like a slab of concrete while the latter like a bag of cat litter.

We didn't stay very long (one night and we got in late and left early). The lobby/common areas were clean and well lit. The hotel itself isn't air conditioned but the rooms all have individual air conditioning units. They were a bit loud when on full but once the room cooled, the low setting was fine. Rooms were clean, lighting was fair. The shower was hot and great water pressure - great shower. We didn't interact with the staff much so gave them an average score. The price was ~$50/night cheaper than lots of places in the area and 10 minutes from downtown Gettysburg. I will definitely come back on my next visit.

We stayed here while hiking & touring Gettysburg NMP. The hotel was clean and safe - bedding was dated. Staff was courteous and quick to respond to requests. For the price, I would stay again.

Its age is showing, feet turn black after walking on carpet. Hotel had musty smell to it.

The rooms and place needs some serious updating and were not very clean overall. Wallpaper is peeling, carpet was dirty and had a iron burn in floor.

Front lobby area was awesome, entrances were not labelled well, sign for rooms was misleading, room had musty smell and patio door was foggy, bathroom faucet was coming off sink, towels were dingy and needed to be replaced, restaurant was overpriced and average.

Hi Jim, Thank you for staying with us and for sharing your experience. We know we're an older hotel, but our rates make us the best value in Gettysburg. The free dinner and free breakfast is unbeatable. You may have seen renovations that are in progress in the pool area, lounge and guest rooms. Our staff works very hard to offer a clean and comfortable stay, along with the best customer service, to all of our guests. I hope you enjoyed seeing Historic Gettysburg and all the attractions our area has to see. We appreciate your business.

Thank you for staying with us. Our hotel is well staffed since you were able to check in, check out and have a clean room with a comfortable bed and hot shower. We know we are an older hotel that is going through a visible renovation, since there are common areas being drywalled, painted and carpeted. I like this review process but I'm always disappointed when a review goes to an unnecessary extreme, yet has no complaints about how comfortable and clean the room was. I hope you enjoyed your time in Gettysburg, there is are so many things to see and do. We appreciate your business.

Thank you for coming to Gettysburg and staying with us. We are in the process of a remodel, but it sure takes a lot of time! I have passed your pool comments on to our maintenance staff, as our pool is heated and they will check for any issues. Our free breakfast and free dinner has been very well received and it certainly helps keep expenses down when you're on a trip. We appreciate your business.
