Stayed here with my family and we loved it, it was clean, the staff was very friendly, you could tell they were in the middle of the remodel when covid happened, even being able to tell it was still very clean, my kids loved the pool and we have already booked another room for another stay in May. The only bad thing i have to say about the room is that they didnt tell us how the sliding glass door locked (we found out later on our own lol) and that they didnt enforce the pool hrs, people were still in it laughing and carrying on well after 10pm. Other than those two things our stay was AMAZING!!!!!!!
Check in was the only smooth thing at this Hotel everything went down hill from there! At check in I asked for a roll away bed and 5 more times, but never received one. We only had 2 towels in our room of 4 people. I put the old towels in the hall for Saturday morning in hopes of getting new ones. Didn’t receive new towels until 9am Sunday morning. We went a whole 24hours without towels.
The place was clean and the woman at the checkin desk was friendly and helpful. When a place offers breakfast, it is usually a pretty sparse bagel or waffle. The Eisenhower Hotel gives you scrambled eggs and sausage.
This hotel pictures show a very nice hotel, but on site it is not the same. Front desk staff are not always available and the lights are shut off. You are directed to contact the front desk at the adjacent hotel (Aspire) to assist you. There were no bed skirts on the bed so you saw many stains. The bathroom have shower curtains that you don't want to touch you and not provided wash rags. The bathroom is VERY outdated, yet I was in a REMOLDED room. The pool area had water everywhere with no caution wet floor signs and was extremely hot. The hot tub did not have water, but people were sitting in it. Not much to the pool itself and it's pretty small. The arcade is a good idea but the games are outdated and cost $0.75 - $1 each which is a rip off. The phone in the room had a blank cover so no way to call for room service, front desk, ect. The bed was comfortable but there were plastic pieces under the fitted sheet that I got out and unsure what they were. For $150 a night, this hotel should have been much better. Next time I would stay in the hotel area with the Hampton Inn, Days Inn, ect to feel more comfortable in my room. OK place if you are OK with outdated rooms, stains on the carpets, no hotel staff, not using the pool and can get past visible nasty stains on the box spring. I would not recommend coming back here.
Inn being renovated, but nice big rooms and quiet. So close to Gettysburg. Would definitely stay here again!!! 😊
Ok rm clean. Beds comfortable buffet breakfast ok server very nice had plenty to eat was at a rehearsal dinner and wedding. Spent two days and two nites everything Ok Kinda spooky no one was there. But felt safe. Workers and working staff. Was convenient for us
The pictures on your site are nothing like the place is in person. The hotel is very dirty. The first room they had us check into had people sleeping in it. The second one there was so many stains on the walls and the bathroom ceiling was collapsing. I was very disappointed alll around. When i brought this to the hotel staff attention it was shrugged off.
Mold, bugs, peeling wallpaper, room key didn’t work. It was disgusting! Will never ever stay there again.
The room upon check in had extensive water damage with mildew smell and severe bubbles in the walls. We got a different room and it was okay. The sheets came off the bed with no elastic and towels were too small for even a 10 year old.
Comfortable, quiet. Website falsely advertised proximity to restaurants
Hotel was much more dated than the pictures let on. I put in a written request for a fridge for medications that have to stay cold, and I even called the day before check in to make sure they saw the request. I also inquired about it when I checked in, they said there should be one in the room and there wasn't. I called for one and the one they brought didn't work. When we needed maintenance to come unclog our toilet it took 2 phone calls, telling the cleaning staff, and over 3 hrs. Lastly the breakfast was AWFUL.
Still my favorite place to stay in Gettysburg!! The building condition is aged but it adds to the vacation spot. Rooms are good sized. Pool is enjoyable. Away from the tourist feel of the area yet close enough to EVERYTHING.
Very cozy big room, nice staff, everything is clean.
It's a very big place they have an indoor pool they give you free breakfast and it's very close to town of Gettysburg
Breakfast was hot. Staff was friendly. Needs renovating, which we heard was happening within a year.
Nice older hotel with a courtyard with an indoor pool, lounge, snack bar and many side attractions. Will stay again when in the area again. Thanks.
The room was dirty. All the towels had frays hanging from them. There was a lack of power outlets at the desk, The wifi was 2 bars at best inside.
Great room, the hotel is a bit dated but Staff was wonderful
