Hilton Garden Inn Gettysburg

We stayed on a trip to Gettysburg. While it's a short drive, it's not close to downtown or many of the historic sites. There was plenty of parking, our rooms were clean and well furnished. It had the beds that let you adjust the firmness and they worked well. Linens were all clean and well appointed. The pool is smaller and the hot tub is too, but they all were clean. The staff were terrific and went out of their way to keep us more than pleased. The only complaint is that we were right off the elevator. The hotel was not very full, so I would have preferred a different placement. The frequent dinging of the elevator and hearing everyone who got on or off the elevator and all their conversations.

The hotel was beautiful the service was exceptional. The staff was eager to answer questions. The lady at the front desk was local to the area and was willing to help with directions or places to visit

Clean hotel friendly staff. Close to town.bed was not the most comfortable but overall a nice room. No complementary breakfast like most other chains offer

clean hotel, nice lobby and great rooms aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Hotel was very clean. Very nice and comfortable lobby. Staff was very friendly. No charge for parking. Would definitely recommend

Hotel is located on major road 5 minutes outside town, shopping center w/24 hr supermarket/drug store adjacent. Clean, modern facility with good parking.

Regularly travel to Gettysburg, and this has become my go to location. Satisfied with the service and accommodations each time.

The hotel is excellent, facilities are at the top end of its peers and general experience is over par. The only challenge is with the restaurant: I had bot a dinner and a breakfast before giving up. The service is slow and inefficient, not to the staff fault but because of lack of resources. In not instances we were seated after considerable waiting next to uncleared tables. The food took too much time to arrive and the whole experience was a game of hopes and waiting... The two staff couldn't keep up with serving patrons and clearing tables and the kitchen was clearly behind the ball. And that was during a weekday (Thursday evening dinner and Friday morning breakfast). After that we just went to town, which was a good thing. Too bad because everything else was close to perfect!

I am a clean fanatic, so to have a room that felt clean was a wonderful change from the other hotels we have been staying in recent days. We have been trying to gain reward points at these other hotels....it wasn't worth it. My daughter even said, "this is the safest, most comfortable, and cleanest hotel we have stayed in so far!!". That was the true reward!

It was wonderful. Sean checked us in and was there to answer questions and greet us when we came back.

I've always stayed at this hotel when visiting Gettysburg and have never been disappointed. Rooms are spacious and inviting and the overall experience is one to look forward too.

This hotel is very nice. If you are a Hilton Honors member, they'll feed you breakfast for free, and I think you can get the membership for free. We were/are not members, so for me and my son the breakfast ran $15, it's not worth $15, but it certainly is good enough if it's free. The room was nice, the pool good enough for us, and they have the hot-tub thing, which we liked.

Easy to find and great location in Gettysburg with easy access to the places we most wanted to see. Very pleased with the breakfast buffet - nice assortment of food and couldn't have been more convenient. Staff was very friendly.

After spending a great night at the Hilton Garden in Harrisburg, we decided to extend our weekend for a night in Gettysburg, PA. The Gettysburg Hilton Garden was not quite as nice, but still very clean and cosy. The mattress will need to be replaced, as the beds were awfully soft with little support, but other than that no complaints, other than a bit pricey for a Hilton Garden.

Very friendly staff, helpful.

very friendly staff and the room maids very friendly all went out of there way to make stay enjoyable

Very Easy Check in and Check out. Room was very large and clean. Hotel grounds were very clean. Was a little disappointed in pool size. Other than that Hotel was great!

We stopped here for a couple of nights on a college tour with my daughter. We both thought that the room and staff were top notch for the price. Breakfast was very good. The gym does need an upgrade. We were both disappointed to see just 3 low quality machines (treadmill, stationary bike and eliptical)---no weight machine or free weights, no mats, no tv (just the hotel's piped in music)and most importantly- no wipes to wipe down the equipment after use. We've stayed in other HGIs and all those had a good selection of equipment, plus the allimportant TV distraction.

Every single hotel in the area can and does say "overlooking battlefield" ... because the whole area was a battlefield. If you are looking for a historic stay in the middle of town and not in a strip mall area 3 miles from town, try the Best western right in the center district.

The hotel was very clean and well maintained, and the staff was both courteous and helpful. The location was far enough outside of Gettysburg so that you're out of the congestion of the town itself, but still close enough to get to any of the attractions within a few minutes. From a convenience standpoint it is located near several shopping centers and places to eat ranging from fast food to full scale restaurants.
