Very friendly staff at the desk, had to leave my bags before and after my stay and it all went well with everyone I dealt with. Location is in the middle of everything, easy to access numerous landmarks by walking and close to transportation.

Everything from check-in to the cleanliness, and quality, of the room were incredible. Wellington Temple Bar has a perfect location in the heart of Temple Bar and right on the river. Staff were extremely friendly, and accommodating. The room was modern and well kept. While the hotel is attached to a pub with incredible live music, the room was quiet and we could not tell that we were in the heart of the Temple Bar district.

Everything was great at this hotel. The food at the pub downstairs was amazing! The entertainment was great too. The rooms were cozy and we had a great view of the River Liffey. We will definitely be back to visit Dublin and we will definitely stay at the Wellington when we do.

The staff was nice & I was so happy to able to check in earlier than 3pm (arrived at the hotel at 5am, did touristy things while hotel kept my luggage until checkin, before succumbing to an unplanned 9 hr nap from being jetlagged). I booked a double with no windows. The lights in the room were already on & better than expected (coffee/tea station with a kettle, keruig, cozy bathroom, tv, desk, closet, safe, ironing board, chairs). While in the room I kept on hearing the circuit breaks and the lights turning off then back on. I figured, well... prehaps its an old building & things like this happen. As long as it turns back on- its all good. Watched some tv and 3am comes, I hear the break again but this time the lights do not turn back on. I turned on my phone's flashlight, avoided looking at the mirrors & got to the door. What if this place was haunted? What if I open the door & some entity is right there waiting for me? But if i don't open the door to leave, I may be stuck inside with 'it'. What if I open it & I let it in? Well, damned if I do & damned if I don't, right? So, I got out of the room & promptly made my way to call for the elevator. It was then I remembered that the elevator is fully mirrored. Fantastic. I kept my eyes on my feet (the last thing I need is to look & see something looking back at me thats not me) & made it to reception. The staff kindly let me know that the keycard goes in the little black box on the wall. Needless to say, I had no further issues.

This was my first time in Dublin. I wanted to make sure I was in a great location for food, drinks, and music. The Temple Bar area, while touristy (yes, I was a tourist), still felt authentic to this historical city. Wellington Temple Bar is in the perfect location to walk to several attractions. The room was small, but I was solo and only in the room to sleep, so it was perfectly fine. The bed was super comfy, though. The staff were very friendly and helpful. With this hotel being in such a busy area, the room was surprisingly quiet, even with the bar/restaurant downstairs. At the end of the day, I’d wind down at the bar/restaurant to reflect on the great day I had in the city. I do plan to go back to Dublin and will stay at the Wellington if it’s available to book.

Clean room having balcony was great as we put our milk out there to keep cold ha ha no fridge - it was Dec ! Right in the Heart of templebar . Breakfast in the adjoining bar was hearty and delicious , just strange to sit in the bar in the morning ! If youre driving in December or when roads are closed due to events , google maps takes you on a tiki tour and never to the hotel as roads are closed ! Park over the canal at the parking suggested by hotel - pay on arrival and get discount ( if you book online you dont get discount for staying at hotel ) and walk over bridge direct to hotel - easy if you know

great location. fit my needs for a quick visit in Dublin. Easy to get to with Dublin Express bus. O'Riordans - very nice lunch at the attached bar. Room is small, but comfortable. I was on 6th floor, completely quiet the entire stay. Great value for the price.
