This was a great hotel in Caye Caulker. The staff was attentive and very friendly. The property itself is clean and in a perfect location. The only downside is this side of the island is covered in sargassum so you can’t enjoy the water across the street. Don’t let that deter you from choosing this hotel though. There are more than enough places to go to enjoy all the beautiful water that Belize has to offer. We highly recommend staying here as we are already planning our next stay.

This was the third time I have stayed at Jan’s. I highly recommend it. The staff is wonderful, always willing to help you with anything you need. The rooms are spotless, and have both AC and fans. Bottled water is supplied daily. An excellent hotel.

We have stayed a couple times here. We really like the location. There were a lot of ants all over the floor and counters in bathroom that’s my only complaint. Otherwise we like it here

I enjoyed the location. Very convenient to all attractions. The only negatives were sewage smell at patio so unable to use or open sliding door. Also it would be nice if there was a microwave.

Nice hotel and friendly staff. Rooms are spacious and clean. Could use darker/blackout curtains (at least in bedroom area) and a full length mirror. Great location. Ride to and from water taxi is a great perk.

I had a fabulous stay at Jan’s. The hotel’s location was perfect for me. The room was beautiful & comfortable. Nice cold AC, hot showers with outstanding water pressure. Free shuttle to & from the ferry, and they even arranged transportation from the ferry to the airport for me. I highly recommended. 5 out of 5 stars for Jan’s! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

First time in Caye Caulker, stayed at Jan’s Hotel and everything about it was amazing. Location could not have been better, room was perfect, coffee on the beach every morning was magical. Luis was so insightful and answered any and all questions we had. By the time we left we felt a friendship with the staff, especially Luis.

Horrible hotel company. Check your light switches and bed sheets first! Our light switch broke and we had to sleep with a bright light on all night. Nobody to contact or help at night. Also, they booked someone in our room for our last day. We were told to move rooms for the new guest, even though we were there first!! The front desk reasoning was "they have more rates on expedia." Worst customer service ever! The only nice aspect about this hotel was the ocean view, and its honestly not all great because of all the sargassum/seaweed on their shores. Its not just belize oceans though, all of the carribean is being affected by global warming in the oceans. You're better off booking a regular hotel.

It was a very nice room No hot water barely warm usually view obstructed by wires and cables. I made arrangements for pick up at the airport it was confirmed and no one showed up was very disappointed and almost missed the last water taxi. No tv service only connect to netflix or other device on phone was a complete waste of time cuz didn't work anyway .

Other than the perfect location, the hotel room was very roomy, clean, and well equiped. The hotel room suite provided plates, pots, stove, glasses. The bathroom is roomy. The most we enjoyed is the view from our balcony. The staff were so accommodating they allow us two leave our luggage before check-in and after checkout.
