The pool area was very nice. Water pressure wasn’t great and the powered window coverings were not “charged” so we were awakened by the early morning sun even after being told it would be addressed. The casino was clean and the staff in that area were kind and polite.

We had a great two night stay here. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. The outdoor pool and hot tub were really nice. We ate at two of the three restaurants and both were really good. Didn't try the spa but we won some money at the casino. There's also a very nice winery with a tasting room next to the hotel. We had a lot of fun.

Whether it is the hotel, restaurants, or bars, the service is absolutely horrible. This is the second time we’ve stayed there with the same experience. It felt like we were simply putting the staff out anytime we ordered, etc, constantly rolling their eyes. We are great tippers, so we certainly paid for their “inconvenience.” This is not the resort style atmosphere they were going for and it’s a shame the staff is so extremely rude and unaccommodating. The amenities were fine, but not worth the money when you factor in being treated poorly throughout the entire property. We will not be going back and it will only be a matter of time before others decide it’s simply not worth the trip to Southern Illinois.

I stayed at this hotel during a business trip and was very pleased. My room was excellent other than the mattress which I was not fond of. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Casino very clean although I didn’t win. The only drawback was location. Not the easiest to get to.
