Cute cabin! Great location!

This charming cabin was the perfect weekend getaway in wine country! The location was excellent—close to many wineries and Carbondale, making it easy to explore the area. The cabin itself was cozy, clean, and well-appointed, providing a peaceful retreat. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is the bed—while it seemed to have a newer mattress, it was very firm memory foam and made a lot of noise when moving. Overall, a wonderful stay, and with a bed update, it would be absolutely perfect!

Perfect in every way!

We spent a weekend just relaxing in the cabin. It is beautiful and clean. We loved that there was not a lot of cluttery decorations. The setup was great, the kitchen had all the things we needed for a weekend away. We spent a lot of time in the hot tub and by the fire place. We would like to come back when the weather is more advantageous for hiking. We saw several deer behind the cabin. My only complaint was that the sheets were rough and the pillows were not great. We would definitely return!

A swing and fowl ball. So close to perfect!!

So I decided to give my own ratings as I feel the general stars aren't accurate.10/10 Bathroom the shower is amazing10/10 kitchen super cute and good size10/10 living it was as described 10/10 hot tub, outdoors and deck area it was awesome10/10 views and wildlife5/10 beds (bedrooms good size) but the beds are like bricksHeres the BUT for me. Everything was strongly scented, sheets, garbage bags, plug ins, etc. I have allegies to scents and am extra carful taking extra meds when I travel. But my husband whos fine with scents was getting swollen eyes and migraines from how strong it was. We left a day early with no refund. If scents don't bother you go, but if you are sensitive as many are this is not the place for you. I strongly feel someone renting to many people should use unscented when possible.

Secluded, private, wooded

Excellent accomadations. Private, secluded, wooded. We saw about 12 deer on the property while here. This is my husband and I's 3rd stay here within a few years. Highly recommend if you are looking for a private secluded setting.

3rd visit

Overall our visit was fantastic! We've stayed at this cabin 3 times and it is perfectly located on the Southern Illinois wine trail. Our only complaint would be the beds are small, full sized mattresses, that are a bit squeaky. We knew this going into the cabin and rented again. It wasn't a deal breaker for us.

Fruits of SoIL

We enjoyed a quiet weekend at this beautiful cabin, nestled in the woods. Sitting in the hot tub, watching the wind blow through the trees and feeling the cool breeze left little to distract us from each other. Enjoyed one of the local wineries and a couple local farm with fresh seasonal fruits & vegetables. The rain slowed our hiking, but we did visit nearby Pomona natural Bridge.
