The staff was excellent. Very accommodating. Great price for a clean and comfortable stay. I stayed there 4 nights on a property / business trip. I was always happy returning to the room after a hard work day. Lowes is right behind the hotel. Not really close enough to walk, but the shortest drive. Also a taco bell is near, a dunkin doughnuts is very walkable. All in all, maybe the best hotel choice in Carbondale.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Although an older motel, the room was super clean and comfortable. You couldn't ask for a better place to stay for the money.

Rented 2 rooms, not sure about the second room but my disability accessible room had a window air conditioner and the room smelled very musty like mildew. There was no coffee for the coffee maker or creamer in the room and the pillows were absolute trash. I ended up checking out after one in that room, left by regular check out time at 11am but they refused to refund any money for the second night. Thank goodness the second room was only reserved for one night or I would have lost double my money. I travel often to Carbondale but will not be using Super 8 again while there. It also will affect how often I choose Super 8 in other cities since I can not check out when I wish and will be charged regarless. Very poor set up.

On the bed there was bear cap beneath the sheet. After finding bear cap, i was checking the entire bed and I found dead bug. This happened within the 10 mins i checked in. I was trying to call front desk through room phone. It was out of order. I had to go on the front desk and requested to change the bed sheet and let them know about room condition. The guy on frondesk said this is 2 star motel. Don’t expect better from here. Its pathetic experience overall. In breakfast also they don’t offer much of the option. You should remove this place from the list. Expecting my money back for this travel.

For the money everything was acceptable. The staff were very nice and friendly but they were making a lot of noise talking in the hall. The giant washing machine housekeeping uses was banging and squealing and they entered my room to clean it while I was sleeping. This was all at 9 am. If I stay here again I couldn’t be on the first floor, that’s where all the noise is.
