Check-in was easy enough, even at 2am. Room was clean, if a little dated, and the amenities were good enough. Definitely looks lived-in, and there is a lingering odor of stale old pot. (I don't fault the property owners about that; welcome to Illinois) Blackout curtains are a godsend for those of us who sleep in. The property is quiet and safe. "Continental breakfast" consists of two types of cereal, milk and OJ. There's a Dunkin next door, and even better options in town (Branch, Harbaugh Cafe are two outstanding ones).
Overall a great value for the price. Just get ready for a long walk if you don't own a car.
