The host was very welcoming and easy to reach, though we didn’t experience any issues during our stay. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described, and the hot tub was a great bonus. I do recommend bringing bottled water, as the tap water wasn’t the best. I like that it feels “off grid” but there are plenty of activities close to enjoy, as well.

This cabin and property was everything and more than we expected. The cabin was very clean and cute and the property was private. The kitchen was very well set up and the bathroom/shower area was great. The front porch was very enjoyable and the back porch area was perfect. The screened in area with the hot tub was an excellent addition to the cabin. The covered area next to the screened in back porch was a perfect set up for the charcoal grill and made it enjoyable to cookout. We also were pleased this cabin had a firepit area. We have stayed at several other cabins in the Carbondale area and this one is our new favorite. We’ll definitely visit again.

As soon as we walked in, we were in awe of how adorable the cabin was. It is a very modern and comfy cabin. The surrounding property was so peaceful. We would definitely stay here again! I wish we had more time to stay longer. We spent a lot of time at Touch of Nature this weekend and the cabin was a quick, easy drive. Watch out for the deer at night!

What an amazing cabin. We loved the quiet location and the cabin was well stocked with everything you could need. Alison checked in with us throughout our stay to ensure we were settled in and to see if we had any questions. We loved waking up in the morning to see peacocks walking by. We can't wait to stay here again soon!

The cabin was very clean, and I paid for some enhancements, which were delivered as promised. It’s secluded enough from the city, but not too far of a drive if you want to go into town. The only thing I would change is the bed; I wish it were bigger. Other than that, I would definitely recommend this place. We pulled a bass boat with us, and it was manageable, but if you have a pontoon or a larger boat, you might struggle a bit.

A true Gem!

This cute little cabin was Everything and more. Beautiful location nestled in the Shawnee forest just like a Hallmark setting! Cabin has a rustic feel, but all the amenities you need! Was very clean and we were impressed with how organized it was using QR codes for instructions! We enjoyed seeing several deer and the country feel of hearing turkeys and roosters. The best was being on a path for the winery trail- so much fun!! We loved this place and will.be back. This cabin is a true Gem!!

A peaceful retreat

The husband and i were looking for a cute cabin near the Shawnee forest to get away for a few days to rest and relax and we found it. It was quiet and far enough from town that it made the hustle and bustle of life seem distant.I would recommend.
