Had to walk through the smokey casino. Construction marginalized the place, but I suppose that is temporary. Since there are plenty of options in the city, I would probably choose a different hotel next time.

Nope!

Walked out of room. They checked me into a room that was recently occupied (maybe by a employee /construction worker). Bathroom was recently used, smelled of fresh cigarette smoke in a non smoking room. Outlet covers and exposed electrical wires on the ground. I immediately turned around and went back to the front desk to ask for a refund. The worker had to get help from a manager, They said I would need to reach out to Hotels.com, they did offer a new room to which I declined out of safety concerns if other people have access to the room. Was forced to find another hotel late in the evening after a long day of travel. How do you check someone into this room? Never again will I step foot in this place!

Expedia's hotel search function indicated this was a pet friendly hotel. It was not and I lost my entire two night cost because of Expedia's error. The hotel manager would not refund my money becuase of Expedias error and neither would Expedia to cover their error,so they are getting a one star rating> Goodbye Expedia it wasn't nice knowing you.

Nice quiet property. Hotel is under renovation and restaurant was closed, but overall a good experience. Will stay again at this property if in Carson City.
