Heat was not working during my entire 7-day stay though manager provided a space heater after the first night and seemed anxious to make things right. Rooms were otherwise stuck at 63 degrees Fahrenheit. Some rooms are partially renovated but fixtures and furniture still pretty beat up. The bed, on the other hand, was excellent. The included continental breakfast was simple but generally adequate except for day to day inconsistencies and being out of key items such as fresh fruit (apples and oranges). There were always packets of oatmeal, bread for toast, butter and jelly, and usually cartons of yogurt as well as fresh fruit, coffee and decaf.

Location convenient to downtown

For a relatively inexpensive overnight stay this was just OK. The hotel does need some serious upgrades and carpet which they do have sign saying that that is in the works however, I did stay there almost a year ago and it said the same thing. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Breakfast leaves a lot to be desired. I would’ve loved for them to have some sort of danish or pastry as opposed to just toast. Our bed was a little squeaky and not very firm. All of the pillows were too firm for me but again it was OK for just one night. The location is convenient if you wanted to walk around town when we visited it was just too hot to do that, but it is possible.

Needs updating....

Very dated property....dirty hall carpet in need of repair...no drain plug in bathtub or sink..very basic and dated room decor. Very basic breakfast....dry cereal...oatmeal to cook in microwave, fruit, toast, coffee, juice. Bed was comfortable. TV had a long procedure to just turn it on. Staff was friendly. I don't think there were more than two other rooms rented on a Wednesday night. Probably a very historic building but in need of updates.

Dirty stained floors windows& doors didn’t lock properly we had no problems however we felt unsafe because of the issues with windows and door . We were here for 3days /nights and never had any maid service . Had 1 half used shampoo & no conditioner the whole 3 day visit . No trash removal or any other service was provided.
