Renovated room was comfortable, especially the bed, but door deadbolt wouldn't turn and screws holding safety catch looked like they had already been ripped out. Continental breakfast is pretty limited. Staff was always pleasant and helpful. Location is convenient for downtown.

This is a 1970s-era hotel in the heart of Carson City's Historic District. It has a 1970s feel in the best of ways. Though the carpet in one of the hallways is ripe for replacement and the decor is dated, I felt right at home. The staff is eminently friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean, the beds are soft, and the complimentary continental breakfast is ready promptly at 6am each morning. For the price, the Hardman House Inn & Suites is a gem. I will stay here again next time I roll through town.

The biggest thing was not being let known about the bee problem they had on the north side of building. Left window open and a couple bees got in. Would have been nice to know. They seemed to know about it and forgot to mention it to us. Shower head leaked. Beds were ok. Outdated bathroom. Bathroom needs to be painted. Walls stained. Dont do mobile check out even though email tells you to. Place has character but needs to be updated. Good location for walking around.
