Good experience. Would stay here again. That says everything important.

But it's an old city :). Not that many to pick from in a town like Carson so if you're expecting Hampton Inn you'll be disappointed. It's a very old property but my room was very clean and spacious. They have a breakfast in the morning, don't expect eggs benedict or omelets, but they do have some fruit, milk and basic breakfast. Ok property I guess if all the big names are taken.

Nice staff. Clean and affordable hotel. Bed pretty good, but a foam topper recommended. We would stay again. :-)

We travel to Carson City on a regular basis. On the recommendation of a friend we tried the Hardman. Absolutely thrilled. Wonderful rooms; clean, comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was adequate. Parking garage kept us away from stairs for my mother- in- laws sake and out of the weather.

It is an older hotel, but it was clean. The staff was very nice. The breakfast was good and had a decent variety. I would recommend it.

I called in advance to the Hotel to verify my room was still reserved as I was driving 8 hours to arrive at the hotel that night. I arrived at 12:30 am that evening, and the staff had everything ready for me. The room was very clean, and even though I needed extra amenities, the Hotel Staff was kind. The Continental Breakfast is very awesome; the best I've had at any hotel stay in the past few years. I only stayed for two nights, but I was nice and refreshed for the long drive I had after my stay.

Needed a clean place to stay for 1 night. It is an older motel, but it is clean and rooms are big. Needs new carpet. Very friendly staff, free wine and cookies from 4-6, FREE WI-FI, and basic free continental breakfast. Downtown, 2 blocks from Nugget casino. Walking distance to Jack in the box to eat, otherwise have to drive to find a resturant.

Price is right, no frills, excellent location. Cookies on arrival. Older hotel, well kept. No complaints.

My sister has stayed at the Hardman House several times and loves it. We decided to stay when my husband had an out-of-town doctor appointment. The room was very clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly.

Good location close to the historic district, which we enjoyed walking through.

I booked at the Hardman House during a trip to Reno. The rooms in Reno were too expensive (Labor Day weekend) so I picked a nearby town, Carson City. I'd never been there before and only went for the affordable room. The hotel is on the main drag in a peaceful neighborhood just blocks from the Statehouse and a few minutes walk from the downtown casinos. It was clean, quiet and very comfortable. Every person working there was friendly and helpful. Best part of our stay: we went outside around 8 PM the night we arrived and watched a deer stepping daintily across the main street right in front of the hotel. A desk clerk told us there were 2 urban herds of deer in Carson that the locals had adopted. In fact we saw a city council meeting on the public access channel next day discussing ways to take care of the deer. What a lovely town!

walking in, greeted right away. while cosmetic improvements are in order, the hotel was clean and welcoming. great value. and friendly staff. will definitely be our hotel of choice.

Enjoyed our stay. Have already recommended this hotel to others.

We had a very pleasant stay here. We stayed for 3 nights. The Staff was very courteous and the room was clean when we moved in. The location was near to casinos and some good restaurants. Morning breakfast buffet was good. Only downside (if you can call it that), was that the rooms didn't have HDTV

We needed a place to stay not far from S. Lake Tahoe. Someone who works at the Salvation Army in Carson City suggested staying here. The rooms were clean and the staff was super friendly. The only suggestin would be that the bathroom sink could be bigger since it is located outside the bathroom and they could use flat screen TV:s. The location was great. Close to S. Lake Tahoe and other places. I would definitely stay there again.

Though this is an older hotel the staff was very friendly and helpful and the room was clean and quiet. Average continental breakfast provided. Stayed for two nights on our way back home. Stayed the extra day so we could explore Lake Tahoe. Located in the downtown area, so close to amenities, restaurants, etc. The price was fair. Would stay again for short stay.

The hotel was awesome, and the staff quite helpful. The main reason I and my companion were staying was to consume a lot of booze during the Carson City Wine Walk, and then for a fair bit afterwards at other choice Carson City destinations. Not all of our plans went overly well, but the hotel was solidly the thing that did. We got a very early check-in, and the desk staff helped me find my room later that evening when I could no longer really effectively read the numbers. It's an old hotel, and was once the top end of what was available in Carson. It's not the top end anymore, but is a really nice and great place to stay if you're just looking for a decent night without a lot of noise or other shenanigans occurring nearby. Other reviews of this place make it sound terrible, but in my opinion a room is a room. The room that I had was by far one of the largest rooms I've ever stayed in, and nearly one of the cheapest at $44 for the night I was there. The only moderately odd thing that I personally noticed was that I was asked who I was and what I was doing when I cut outside for a cigarette at about 3 A.M.. I don't consider the staff inquiring that for the security of the other guests to be a drawback whatsoever, though.

The room was clean and well equipped. The only issue was tha it was too hot. The staff did get a fan for me and that improved the temperature immensely. Otherwise a great hotel. The location was great as I was visitng both Reno and Lake Tahoe.

Nice Hotel, Good continental breakfast, underground parking is a plus in winter.

Good cosy place for families. Easy access to downtown and other points of interest. Breakfast could have been better. Otherwise, good family hotel with friendly staff.
