We enjoyed the daily treats and drinks, the fresh towels and clean room that was done daily. We loved the pools and proximity tot he beach, the hammock on our balcony, the beautiful balcony table to watch the sun rise every morning, the view, the exotic feel with all the fauna. I also loved the automatic curtains. The staff was great as well as the food. Veronica was a gem.We loved our trip!

From check-in to check-out the entire experience with this hotel was excellent. We traveled with our kids so we had 3 rooms. 2 of the rooms were upgraded to suites free of charge and they made a point to put all of us on the same floor close to each other without us even asking. The food was delicious with multiple dining options. The only complaint we have is that the dinner buffet was closed 3 nights in a row but we were able to get into the other restaurants without any problems. The rooms were very comfortable and the staff very friendly.

Very upsetting..cheating on customers about all inclusive. There were 5 other guest going through the same situation while i was checking in. Thats means either expedia is false advertising of both expedia and hotel is cheating. I took numbers of guest who were involved this will be in news in few days.

What an amazing resort experience! Everything from the food to the service to the rooms was top-notch. Our room was cleaned daily, and one of the best perks was being able to order lunch and drinks right from the pool. The beach is just steps away, and it was well maintained. They cleared the seaweed daily,ñ. We chose the all-inclusive package, and if you're someone who loves to eat and drink (like we do!), it’s 100% worth it. They still provide receipts showing what you would’ve paid without it, and every one of ours said “covered - AI,” which was super reassuring. We had no surprises at checkout. A tip: follow the advice in other reviews and book your dinner reservations early. The restaurants fill up fast. All are great! You can’t go wrong with any of them. I’ve stayed at two other resorts in Cancun, and the food here is the best by far. The steaks are not dry. The food has flavor. The drinks are not watered down. I also loved the free water activities. They offered paddle boards and kayaks, and it was such a fun and easy way to enjoy the water. This is a family resort. There is no nigh lot time entertainment but they do provide an itinerary of pool activities. They play some music on occasions but it’s not a party hotel. Which we didn’t mind at all!! This place is officially on my repeat list.

El resort es absolutamente hermoso, con varias piscinas para nadar por si las demás están llenas :). El personal es increíblemente atento y amable. Hay cinco restaurantes en el resort para elegir, aunque me gustaría que la comida mexicana fuera más auténtica, pero entiendo que hay gente y turistas de Estados Unidos de visita y la comida esta hecha a su medida. Sin embargo, fue un resort muy bonito!

We have stayed at Villa Del Palmar every time we’ve visited Cancun — three times now — but unfortunately, our most recent experience was disappointing. Compared to our previous visits, the quality of service at the restaurants has noticeably declined, while prices have increased significantly. For what they charge, the food is just average at best, which makes it feel like poor value overall. Another thing that stood out was how the welcome has changed. We used to be greeted with a fun, tropical piña colada when we arrived — now it’s just a glass of champagne. It’s a small touch, but it felt more special and fitting for a beach resort before. We also noticed changes in the in-room snacks available for purchase. We asked why the selection now includes things like salt and vinegar chips and Snickers bars instead of more local treats, and we were told it was because some guests complained. All I have to say is, if you’re coming to Mexico, you should expect — and want — to be immersed in Mexican culture, food, and flavors. There’s no need to Americanize everything. Another major frustration was the local transportation situation. Cancun basically requires tourists to use their regulated taxi system if you don’t have your own transportation, and the prices are outrageous. We were charged $25 just to get to the ferry terminal for Isla Mujeres, while an Uber would have cost about $6.25 USD. When we asked about ordering an Uber, we were told we could, but only if we waited for it

Well the hotel was great, with Expedia I have some issues they never resolved, I had paid extra for certain things and the communication with the hotel wasn’t great, reserve directly on their site. It was embarrassing how Expedia didn’t respond ever. I seriously doubt that I’ll ever be reserving with Expedia again. Hotel great, Expedia terrible

Our first family trip and we couldn't have picked a better place to stay. Will definitely be returning again. Everyone was so nice there. Food was amazing. Staff is excellent!!!
