No support staff. If I find someone they don’t speak English but can tell me to call front desk. Front desk, housekeeping never answered the phone all weekend. Then comes the elevators or should I say elevator cause out of 6 only 1 was in service. One elevator with a 1,000 floors should be a crime. I waited a hr watching 8 elevators pass me full to the max…just to come downstairs! My king mattress had one sheet and mattress was 30% exposed. With no fitted sheet at all. I’ve selected oceanfront with the balcony for my family which is $600+ each night. Never again! Don’t waste your money. Book Ocean resort! Then just go to showboat for the activities. Trust me you don’t want to leave the 1st floor. Ever!!

Room was not the cleanest let aloan the halls . Very poorly maintained. The elevators did not operate. 6 elevators and only one was functioningby the 2nd day of our stay. Staff standing around laughing about the situation. ice machine had hose hooked up and water running out all weekend. If you were handicap and there was a emergency you would be screwed. Staircase door were locked people trapped unable to get out on the weekend of valentine's.. there were alot of unhappy people.

Elevators were not functioning properly. Room service and guest services were extremely delayed. We waited several hours past 11:00 PM to receive sheets for the pull-out couch so our children could go to sleep. The bathroom sink was clogged, and maintenance took hours to arrive. When maintenance did arrive, sewage was splattered throughout the bathroom and onto our personal belongings, including toothbrushes and hair supplies. They did compensate us by giving me a refund for my troubles.. Hotels.com has to reach out to them to get me my refund they offered it to me just need you guys to call them and get the ball rolling

The hotel was terrible.after expedia ruined my special valentine's day weekend with my wife and expedia did not confirm my hotel room with the Harrah resort hotel in atlantic city and i was left without a room and i was forwarded to the showboat hotel which was completely garbage.Serveral problems this location and I'm totality furious about this.never have i been so embarrassed and put in a situation that totally uncomfortable...expedia I'M SO OVER YOUR SERVICE....THIS IS THE SECOND TIME YOU HAVE MADE MY VACATION VERY UNCOMFORTABLE..NEVER AGAIN.

The number 1 problem was the elevators. They have 6 elevators and when we arrived only 2 were working. We were on the elevator and it briefly stopped working. The doors started opening and closing quickly. Long lines formed waiting for the elevators. The day of check-out, there was just 1 elevator working and elevator was stuck going between several floors and our wait was over an hour for an elevator. 2nd problem was our room. The floor in our living room area was scratched up and stained. The lighting is also very poor and room needs to be updated, considering we paid over $700 for the night.

One elevator working waiting up to an hour to get in an elevator to go up and again to come down. Had to walk 7 flights of stairs to leave with all our luggage. Room smelled of Pot, hallway smelled like cat piss. I have never left a poor review anywhere in my life. I am easy to deal with and go with the flow. This was the worst place I had ever stayed in my 58 years. I mean I am telling anyone I can to never, ever stay there again. The fact we had to waste hours each day to just get up to our room as down plus carry luggage 7 flights should give us some money back. My wife is livid and so am I. Worst weekend away ever.

Ohh man, stay away from this place. I dont evenknow where to start. Rooms- old-- bad smell-- look dirty- carpets look like 40 years old we have to use old the time in the room--- winter time the room was like 85 degrees try to set it ac and will not cool down--- extremely hot we could barely sleep--- mattress in very poor condition---we could feel the mattress springs imagine ---- order toilet paper at 9.30am never show up Elevetors ----- 6 elevators at time 2 working at times 1 working---- many time have to wait up to 30 minutes in line to get to the elevator---- elevators are in bad conditions at points that we dont feel safe on them---- waiting 30 minutes to get down from your floor to do check out. Food--- did not even try the food by how the places look--- and the reviews online are not good at all about the food Water park --- water cold for the kids --- we did not even last 25 minutes---- if your kid is under 42 inches dont waste your money there nothing for him/her. Only a couple of slide for adults. Positive--- the lnly good thing we figure out was that its next to hard rock and we spend our time. If you want extremely good food try the buffet at hard rock. Its cost 42.99 per person but it is restaurant food quality, trust me you wont be disappointed at this place. It seems expensive but its not when you compare getting 1 plate for 30 dollars Please dont stay at Show Boat if you have the possibility to go somewhere else

only 1 elevator working for 25 floors.Had to walk down 14 floors the day of check out Place was dirty. Front desk staff was not helpful at check in. Didnt communicate on parking or check out time. Just gave me my key and said go to the left. The arcade has so many games out of order. Do not recommend

Mostly everything went well is just the elevator is 6 elevators and the first day we got there only two were working we checked out Sunday and one elevator was working it was more than 30 minutes wait time for an elevator and if you in luck it will not be full of people I had to take the stairs to be able to leave after waiting for a long time I am 35 weeks pregnant taking stairs that are wet and look like they haven’t got maintenance in a long time

I stayed at bourbon tower with my parents in their 70s. The whole tower (25 floors) had only 2 functioning elevators. 4 elevators were just for show. There was a line to get up to the rooms and down to the lobby all hours of the day. During the time to check in and check out are the worse. We checked out on a Sunday. We waited for 30 mins for an elevator but could not get on cause they were always full. We were forced to take the stairs with our luggage. If I could give this negative stars I would
