Perfect hotel for families, especially the kids...huge arcade, go karts, roller skating, AND an indoorwater. It has 2 bars on the first floor. Comfortable bed, spacious room and bathroom, clean towels and bedsheets. I will definitely go back since the kids enjoyed so much. Keep in mind, the casino is closed. The hotwl is located between the hard rock hotel and the ocean hotel, you can walk to eith of thise casinos.

No breakfast offered. There is an indoor restaurant to buy breakfast with reasonable price. Called for assistance, but No one answering the phone! 6 elevators at Bourbon tower, but seems only 2 working - better take the elevator to go up then come back down, then down to the first floor, because it’s always going to be full when it goes back down & you won’t have a place to fit. Basically, it’s getting what i paid for, i guess!

We had a nice time at the island waterpark and it was convenient to stay at the hotel. I don’t give it a five star due to no coffee maker or microwave in the rooms. Other than that rooms were clean and staff were friendly.

1) Being the hotel has no pool, it would be nice if you could offer a discount to your adult-only area of the water park. 2) Check in is 4pm. My room was not ready at 4pm. 3) I booked through hotels.com. I was quoted a price there as to what I had to pay up front and what I had to pay at the hotel. The amount they charged me at the hotel was substantially higher then what was quoted on hotels.com. 4) I was staying 2 nights. On the second morning the housekeeper knocked, then opened my door without waiting for a response. She said she was expecting me to check out; I had to explain I was not checking out that morning. She could not explain why she opened my door without waiting for a reply after she knocked.

We recently stayed at the Showboat Hotel in Atlantic City and had an extremely poor experience from start to finish. Check-in was chaotic and unpleasant, and the room we were assigned looked nothing like the photos advertised on the website. The room was in very poor condition, with missing in-room furniture and an overall run-down feel. Basic amenities were lacking — there was no hair dryer or standard bathroom essentials. The elevators were a nightmare. Out of six elevators, only two were working, even during peak hours, leading to long waits and overcrowding. This was especially frustrating throughout the day. Unfortunately, the staff was rude and unhelpful, which only added to the negative experience. On top of that, the food services were terrible, with very limited and poor-quality options. Overall, this hotel felt poorly managed and not worth the price. If you’re visiting Atlantic City only for the waterpark, note that you can use the waterpark even if you stay at another hotel — which is what I strongly recommend. Stay elsewhere and avoid the Showboat Hotel entirely. I would not recommend this resort to anyone.

Indoor waterpark was amazing. The food was not so great. I highly recommend going outside of the hotel to get food. The hotel rooms were very clean. There is no outlet next to the bed and there is no microwave in the rooms but other than that it was very clean. There’s also no hairdryer in the bathroom. They had a really big arcade. Arcade is a little pricey. It’s like damn near impossible to win the claw machines they have over 30 claw machines. It is an old place, they definitely need some upgrades. Overall it was clean and everyone was nice. The only thing that really irritated me the most was the elevators. There are six elevators and at one point only one worked so you’ll literally be waiting over like 15 minutes for an elevator.

It was the worst experience I have ever had in an Atlantic City hotel. Check in is listed as 4 pm. I checked in at 4 (they took my money and the charge for the incidentals) but after doing the transactions, then they tell me my room wasn’t ready but would be less than 30 mins. An hour later I went back to the desk and they gave me a room. Went to the room and THE ROOM WAS NOT READY. Back down to the desk and they gave me a different room. We went to that room and by this time it was 530. The second room did not have any hand towels or washcloths. Housekeeping was seen on the floor so I went to ask for hand towels. I asked her and her answer was “NO”. I said excuse me, and she repeated herself. NO! No reasoning why just a plain NO. I should probably mention the whole hall way toward the cart was smelling like someone was smoking pot. I found the origination of the smell when I got to the housekeeping cart. I am so very disappointed with this stay. We have been there before and never had an issue. I will be thinking twice before booking there again

We didn’t have breakfast or réalise it was included. It’s a dated hotel great for families with kids. And lots of things for children to do. Wasn’t what we were looking for, but worked for the night.

The young lady who checked mein was not so hospitable. She didnt greet me okay and when i handed her my firm of payment she said "right in front of you." She never said you can swipe , tap, or insert when ready. I said thank you after paying she never opened her mouth. I dont think she wanted me there but oh well. I will continue to come to Showboat as long as i can. I love it there.
