It is a nice looking hotel but DETAILS….parking might be an issue, it gets full quickly. I tried contacting the hotel ahead of time because the description said 2 twin size bunk beds for the suite but the pictures showed a Queen and a bunk so the description online is not accurate. It took 3 separate tries to finally get ahold of someone. Check-in was easy and the location is GREAT! It is quiet. Other important details: the room did not seem as clean as it should be…there were hairs in the bathroom and the comforter had stains…we managed and stayed 2 nights. The shower doesnt have a door so a lot of water can splash out. The water was cold and never warmed up so couldnt really take showers after going to Disney. It wasn’t broken but even when you put the tab to the hottest setting it never even warmed up. Would I stay again? The price for the location is affordable but it needs to be CLEANER.

I had a very positive stay at the California Inn. The staff was very friendly at check-in and mentioned that the property is under new management, which seems to show in the condition of the rooms. When I checked in, I asked to see the room first, and the one they showed me had recently been remodeled. It was spotless, modern, and clearly very well maintained. My room was also themed — it had a fun “under the sea” mermaid design, which made the stay feel unique and memorable. The bathroom was especially nice and looked newly updated as well. Everything felt clean and fresh, which made the room even more comfortable. The room also had some nice unexpected touches, including bottled water, snacks, Peet’s coffee with a Keurig, and even a non-alcoholic beer in the fridge. Everything was complimentary, which was a pleasant surprise. The location was convenient—about a mile from Disneyland Resort. Parking was easy, and it was quiet at night, which made the stay even more comfortable. For about $70 a night, I felt it was an excellent value. The room was clean, comfortable, and recently updated. I would happily stay here again.

The rooms were attractively decorated. In-room snacks were a great extra perk! Maid service was not provided on one day even when we hung the sign out requesting it. Hotel is in a great location with friendly staff.

The room was kinda dirty. We stayed here in 2024 and it was beautiful and newly renovated but now the rooms are very rundown. Very unfortunate. Otherwise good location and only a mile walk to the park

It is a small property, nicely renovated. The room, with a bunk bed, was cute and perfect for us! Bed was comfy. We also enjoyed the complimentary snacks and drinks! Feels safe since it is tucked behind/between a liquor store and restaurant with a gate on the side so there is no through traffic. We got back late one night and the parking lot was full but there was a spot near the street. Would recommend to others and we will definitely stay again!

There were roaches, like maybe 12 throughout the room. The walls had feet marks everywhere and the sheets had yellow stains on them. The staff was understanding and gave us a full refund.
