Absolutely stunning place to stay! My flight was cancelled from Schiphol overnight so chose here and I was not disappointed. The staff are so friendly and helpful, they could not do enough for you. Will certainly stay again!

Desk said they would email when the room was ready and they didn’t. My wife requested an iron which never came. The room was really nothing special considering its “5 star” rating. Room had an unusual smell akin to a wet dog. Next time I’ll just select a Marriott property. Bartenders and wait staff were great. Didn’t receive any perks or upgrades but not sure we were supposed to.

Have stayed at this hotel a few times now and each time, have been assigned a unique and different room as the hotel was created from many old Amsterdam homes. The staff are efficient and friendly, and the hotel is very comfortable and centrally located.

It didn’t feel like a 5 star hotel. At check in i approached the counter and said I would like to check in and the person at the counter told me “I’m finishing something “, after he checked us in he didn’t give us any information about breakfast ( it was included in my reservation) . The place is very nice it’s composed of I think 25 houses so it’s a labyrinth. The bathrooms next to the breakfast weren’t very clean and we were not allowed to use the gardens and relax there unless you were going to eat. An elegant old Amsterdam Canal house experience. Nice bar and restaurants. Very expensive though.
