Marvelous Experience in Amsterdam. Lots of culture and fun. Perfect for families and group of friends. The city gives you sense of freshness and safety. Food is great with vast choices. We were luck that it did not rain.
Kraznapolsky Hotel is Top Class Hotel, with Excellent Staff, Service and Restaurant. Ideally located in the heart of the Great City of Amsterdam. Will Return again, as I have done many times before. Kind Regards Mike
Very centrally situated this hotel is probably one of the nicest hotels in Amsterdam. The personnel were extremely helpful and friendly, the rooms spacious and comfortable and the breakfast out of this world! Sunday the breakfast stays open till 12.00 and the choice is amazing ! A great place to stay !
Fantastic hotel at the centre of Amsterdam. Close to shopping streets etc. Luxurious rooms. Good restaurant, breakfast was excellent. Good service and room service. Perfect for a weekend in Amsterdam.
As I remember this the 5 th time in this hotel , the service and the location is good , but , if you arranged to the 1st floor, my experience is noisy from the street and upper floor, the hotel isolation is not good enough
Great stay at an iconic hotel and location in amsterdams major square dam everything in meters reach. Would definitely recommend it to anyone traveling to Amsterdam for the first time. As you will be more or less in the middle of t he city.
We stayed for the weekend and had booked a king-size room and got a room with 2 single beds with very efficient wheels. housekeeping were called and efficiently made the bed into a kingsize. my wife called room service asking for a price list for the minibar items and if she could order a glass of champagne. She was told that they did not. Later the next day when we found the room service menu we found out that it was offered. The next day our minibar was not replenished and when we asked in the evening for it to be done we were told the minibar stores room was locked. Eventually we were offered a glass of sparkling wine which was nice and an Earl Grey tea bag (we had ordered a pot of Earl Grey Tea). The following day (departure day) - my wife was kindly granted a late checkout at 3pm. We vacated the room at 12 noon but did not go to reception to checkout. At 6pm I was in the lobby collecting the luggage and I gave the key back and offered to pay our extras. I was given a rather unpleasant lecture by the head receptionist that I should have done that before 3pm and that normally they would charge an extra half day. I spend approx 100 days a year in 5 star hotels for the last 20 years and have never been treated like that over this issue. Generally I never physically checkout because it is a real waste of time and paper. The hotel always has a credit card guarantee on file so it risks nothing
My boyfriend and I went to a city trip to Amsterdam. We stayed 3 nights in this hotel. The hotel was recommended by my best friend. She has been here several times before. We had a very long flight and were very tired when we arrived at the hotel early in the morning. When we checked in we got a free upgrade to a beautiful premium room by the receptionist Taco, he was very kind. And told us about all the things we could do during our trip. We loved the room especially the very comfortable bed and the shower. The location of the hotel is perfect in the middle of the city. On our second night we went to the tailor bar because we heard the cocktails were very good. Even though it took us very long to get the drinks, we loved it. We would definitely recommend this hotel to others! We hope to come back another time!
The experience was splendid. The location okay. The services were excellent. The staff were charming and friendly. The meals were adequate and very timely. The room and facilities were excellent.Checking in was easy and checking out very apt.
Historic hotel located in Dam Square, the perceived centre of Amsterdam. Huge - c.500 rooms - but still with a personal touch; the bar staff remembered drink preferences from earlier nights and made several useful restaurant recommendations. Our room was in the adjoining annexe and was large with plenty of storage space and an excellent modern bathroom. My only criticism would be the night time noise levels in clearly audible in the room. Amsterdam is a lively place with partying going well into the night and, despite being on the 5th floor (of 6 in the annexe), the noise was enough to wake us up. Breakfast is served in a stunning dining room (the Winter Garden) but the food, particularly the hot option, promises rather more than it delivers. Overall though this hotel is very highly recommended for a weekend stay.
