The location is very good. The room is very clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay at this hotel again.

We had to wait for hours until we got the room, when every time we were told that the room was a high priority for cleaning but still not ready, we entered the rooms at 6 o'clock instead of 3 o'clock as promised by the contract . The linens were not clean. The food was very good. M

Hotel was overbooked and they ended up putting us in the apartments which was not a 5 star property and was 2 blocks away from the main building

For starters they didn’t have a room for us after we prepaid. And we notified the hotel we would arrive late and they sent us an email confirming we were checked in. Then then they gave us a shady apartment to stay. When we checked in, it took forever because the concierge was busy flirting. They ended up giving us a room after the first night but it was such an inconvenience to have to unpack and pack back up.

For Dutch norms it is a good hotel. Compared to 5 star hotels in other countries , the rooms are more 3-4 star. Breakfast however is very good and worth the extra.

This hotel is very nice. The rooms are very clean and updated with nice amenities. It is located right in Dam square so the location is within walking distance of much of Amsterdam or close enough to public transportation to get where you need to be. My biggest complaint is that when we checked in, they had oversold their rooms. We had this booked for almost 8 months, yet they didn't have a room for us. They put us in an apartment, which was nice, but detached from the hotel and down the street. Then we had to move the next day. Not the biggest deal in the world, but just a big inconvenience. The check in desk is a bit unorganized. They have two counters but if you pick the wrong one, the other counter is looking to see who was there first. So you are constantly watching the other line which is obstructed by a pillar. Again, not a huge deal, but I saw a lot of highly frustrated guests. Overall I would recommend the hotel, but I highly recommend communicating with them to ensure they will have the room you booked available.

+ great location if you want to be near city center + some rooms may have good views (mine didn't) + "upgraded" to an "apartment" for free because I was staying 7 nights. This was a two floor unit and was neat - no fitness center - though their partner hotel has a basic one - some rooms are in another building across a walkway through red light district (so any restaurants aren't directly accessible) - room had serious signs of wear, including large broken tile in bathroom, stains - not that modern

The hotel staffs are not so helpful and the porter lost our check in suitcases.We were waiting for 6 hours to get back our 3 pieces of suitcases.

Best location in town, very friendly staff and excellent cold seafood bar

they do not clean the room very well the elevator was broken they lost my luggage and they missed it up with others luggage then they send it to the airport after an hour they are not that friendly
