After excessive flight cancellations and a very crowded checkin the staff did a great job being efficient and friendly. The restaurant was also very full and a long wait for food but the friendly staff was appreciated.

The staff I interacted with were very helpful but I was given the key to a room that was already occupied, walked into someone else’s room while they were sleeping in the middle of the night! I was then taken to another room that the staff weren’t entirely certain was occupied or not. At the end of the day I did have a place to sleep but it was not a smooth check in and the bathroom/room was not very clean. As an airport hotel it would be helpful to have an alarm clock in the room to help with early morning flights.

The airport shuttle was very convenient. The people at the front desk or friendly unhelpful.. My only complaint is the thermostat in my room would not turn on fortunately it was not too cold or too hot of a night so I was comfortable. The other thing was the bathroom sink was leaking onto the floor, which is why the garbage can was underneath it. But I was comfortable and able to sleep well for a nice price.

Our go to sot whenever we travel to or through Amsterdam. Free, convenient shuttle bus runs every 30 minutes to and from Schiphol so travel from there via train is easy. Wonderful soup for a quick evening snack and extra friendly staff.

Smell of weed in the hall ways by the room, inside the room the key card switch was broken. I have stayed in other Bastion Hotels around the city in Amsterdam they are super good. Just didn’t expect this here.

Reception was friendly and quick. I was given a room on the 4th floor almost at the very end which made me walk a long way. When I got there I saw that the toilet seat is unhinged and I’m glad I didn’t use it yet or I could possible fall off. Reception sent an employee for the room across and when I checked out the bathroom the one side of the toilet seat is loose as well and wiggles badly but not as bad as the first room. So, I decided I have no more energy to ask for another room and just lived with it.
