The hotel was a little run down in appearance from outside. The bed was fine and room was fine however the hot water was not working properly the night I checked in and while out to dinner I had asked the desk to check it and they said they would. The next morning the shower was still cool. Probably would not stay here again. Mentioned to the desk about the water and they said they could not do anything since I booked through expedia.

Besides the beds and pillow being extremely comfortable the breakfast hostess went out of her way to make sure we and everyone dining were well taken care of. Pat was there bright and early with a smile on her face and all the breakfast items hot, ready for us to enjoy. She even opened a few minutes early for us. We observed her helping a disabled lady back to her room. She truly went the extra mile to make us feel welcome. Then to make our experience even better... my husband left his phone charger accidentally in our room. We received a phone call just in time that it was there and we were able to pick it up before heading out of town. Above and beyond in every way.

The room was wonderful and clean! Staff was very professional!

The hotel was average across the board for almost all aspects. There was a smell in the room that we could not determine the origin.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this property in Kernersville. I was driving from Cleveland, OH to Jacksonville, NC (by way of Columbus, OH - the trip was for the purpose of showing Ohio colleges & universities to my daughter, who will be preparing to apply for schools in the fall). That morning, I decided that the Winston-Salem/Greensboro area was as far as I was willing to go. In the past, I have usually stayed with another hotel chain, but their move to air chamber beds (I really dislike them and can never get comfortable in them) has left me looking for a new hotel chain to try. I found this property via a mobile app and booked right away, based on the good reviews. My daughter and I arrived around 10pm. We were checked in quickly and went to our room on the second floor. The 2 queen beds were wonderfully comfortable (a big plus with me), there was a mini-fridge in the room (bonus, as I'd read that there might not be one), and the room spacious enough for two. The Wi-Fi was a little spotty in our room, but it wasn't terrible, especially for being free. :) I took a shower before bed and the water pressure was adequate. I slept well, and in the morning, I turned in our room keys around 10am, but requested that we be able to stay a little longer so that my daughter could swim in the pool before we left. The property manager had no issues with this. The pros: -Super-comfortable beds -Free Wi-Fi -Friendly staff -Quiet pool (open 10am-9pm, and there was no one but a staff member cleaning the pool at 10am - it remained quiet until noon, when we left) -Plentiful electric outlets in the room -Free continental breakfast The cons: -The hallway/staircase in the back of the hotel where you climb the stairs to the second floor was swelteringly hot. -If you're going to turn in your room keys then go swim like we did, don't. You will need your room key to get back in the building (to turn in your pool towels). I took them to the front desk, instead. -The parking lot is tiny, and by the time I arrived, it was nearly full. I parked my car in the far back of the parking lot, which wasn't as well-lit as I would've liked. (However, this is likely because I heard there was a wedding party staying on-site). All in all, I would stay here again, for sure. I didn't feel that the room was "musty" or "outdated", as others have pointed out. It was perfect for the price.

Clean Room as expected from Holiday inn Express, bathroom stocked and clean, heater better than most, good continental breakfast.

Location was easy to find and convenient. Room was very clean and quiet. Staff was very friendly. Complementary breakfast included "everything" .

Nice, convenient hotel. Stayed one night for a business meeting in Kernersville. Not much in the area for attractions, but for our purpose it suited us just right.

The location was very convenient for us. The staff was VERY friendly. The room and hotel we very clean. The breakfast was typical but was nice to have provided.

I have chosen to stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Kernersville twice per year for the last 3 years. They are always courteous, the rooms are clean and well kept, the complimentary breakfast is good and allows me to eat and do my final personal hygiene before my business day starts. I really like the place!

We really enjoyed ourselves. It was very relaxing!!! It was very clean, that means alot.

Location was great - halfway point to Myrtle from Pittsburgh. Location great off the interstate and alot of results in the area. The Mia Pueblo mexican results was FABULOUS!!

Staff courtesy and assistance with fax and word processing were above the call of duty and very helpful. All of the staff had wonderful customer service skills.

The room was clean and comfortable but since it was close to the front desk and breakfast area, it was also close enough to hear everyone coming down the halls at night. I know there isn't much that the hotel could have done to keep their other guests quiet but because of the noise I didn't sleep much while I was there.

The Holiday Inn Express in Kernersville,NC was a very enjoyable stay. The staff was very courteous in all aspects. The room in which I stayed in had everything you really need for a vacation-refrigerator,coffee maker, icemaker right down the hallway. It is located right off a major highway, within 15 minutes of the Greensboro airport. There are many restaurants surrounding the hotel,as well as fast food options.I would say the 2 most prevalent points I would stress would be the cleanliness and the friendliness of this hotel and staff.
