Ok so first night here was good, it’s a decent enough location, rooms average. However I have an early flight tomorrow. It is now 1am and it is impossible to sleep due to the ridiculous noise coming from the bar downstairs. Seriously. I have ear plugs in and this is sheer hell.

I stayed in this hostel for three nights as part of my G Adventures tour. I felt it was in a good location and it was clean and comfortable. My negative points are that you had to pay for wifi and the connection was terrible, you had to keep reconnecting your device to it. The rooms were also so small, there was not enough space for your luggage. There were also no lockers in the rooms.

The hostel is very well located. But, the Wifi is not included and the rooms are very small and hot in the summer. Bathrooms are shared but pretty clean. The kitchen is way to small for such a big hostel. It gets crowded especially in the morning when everyone wants to make their free pancakes. On the positive side, the hostel has a locked room to leave your backpack before check in or after check out.

Good location, cheap. But wifi is an extra charge... Also a joke with the "included" breakfast. Just a bowl with pancake mixture. A lot of people standing in the kitchen, no chance to do the pancakes. Went in a coffee. Price really good, but yeah, that's it. For one night ok.

Wifi is an extra charge AND it's only available in the common room which is a pain. Honestly not worth to buy if you are staying for less than 1 night. Rooms are tiny and squished. Other than that no big complaints. Very average for a hostel.

The dorm was clean, comfortable but not spacious. Bathroom were shared but clean. Kitchen facilities are good. Staff are helpful. But need to pay $4 for wifi. Easy to park at night. Location is good as it is within 10 mins walk in CBD.

This hostel sucks bwcause: It's 2018 and you still have to pay $4 per device for bad internet. They just want our money. It's an alcohol free hostel because they want you to drink at the HORRIBLE bar next door. Again, they jyst want our money. The rooms need a keycard in the slot for electricity to work which is really annoying when someone needs to leave the room, especially when it's a dorm full of strangers. They are trying to save as much money as possible on electricity costs. NOISY bunk beds. Every time someone moves a loud squeaking noise. The shower didn't drain at all so after 30 seconds I was standing in a pool of water. So, for a hostel that isn't that cheap, it just seems like the people at Nomads want to make as much money from people and spend as little as possible. I won't use Nomads again.

The room was very smelly, and hot and badly ventilated. Kitchen wasn’t very clean. Only good thing was the pancakes. Dinner was very average!! Wasn’t worth the price we paid for it. Good central location.

The room was horrible. It felt like it was about 50 degrees in there and it stunk of feet and dirty clothes. There was a fan but it didn't help the airflow at all. Everyone in there was suffering. The mattress was also pretty lumpy and uncomfortable and the bathrooms opposite weren't very clean either. The free food offered was a really nice touch though and the staff seemed pretty friendly too.

Bang in the centre, only a shake of a badgers tail away from the wharf and gallery. Free pancakes in the morning as well is nice touch, even though by 9am the kitchen looks like a scene from Dunkirk with batter. Rooms are basic but clean, and no alcohol is a good idea. Could do with a minimal free WiFi allowance, even just 1/4 of a gb. Room was extremely hot, partly wellingtons fault, but no a/c.
