I had a wonderful time too bad it was cut short the staff was tremendous I felt sorry for them being out of A job.

Staff was very friendly. I was upset that they were unable to set up scuba diving due to not enough people.

Wish they would have room serve 24/7. Visited St. Maarten 2 years ago (Ocean Point Sonesta Resort) and really enjoyed the room service.

All were excellent - Staff, the ambiance, the property and the shuttle service.

The resort was Beautiful! They have something for everyone and the staff was excellent! Loved this place! Would definitely recommend!

The beach and pools were great. The resort was dirty. Our room smelt like mildew. Our sheets had mold on the every day.The staff was not friendly and some of the men bartenders were very rude.

Very disappointed in this resort. There is a MAJOR termite issue. Our room was constantly filled with them. Others in our party had room flooding issues several times. Resort could really use updating as well. No variety in restaurants. Was almost impossible to get dinner reservations with children even though it is a family resort. Some stuff friendly, and quite a few are not. Would not return to this specific resort.

The staff was very friendly. Always spoke to make sure you were having a good time. The property was kept very clean. We had a super good vacation.

The only thing I would have liked better, is if the resort were on the Caribbean side rather than the Atlantic side. Just calmer water.

The thing that I liked the most was that the pools are 24-7. Besides that the food is always almost the same. No varieties. The food doesn’t taste too good. They don’t really have entertainment and when they do it isn’t too good. It was an okay experience. I’ve been to better resorts and this was by far the most disappointing.

The safari trip was fun. However the entertainment in the resort was not great. The food was just ok. They made the resort appear to be better than it was so I was left disappointed.

Impressed with quantity and quality of outdoor ocean front seating and huts. Quantity of umbrellas for protection from sun was lacking along with quality of beach, If you are expecting crystal clear blue waters you will be disappointed.

The food was excellent! Drinks were great. Everyone was nice and helpful!! Entertainment was top notch! Massage at spa was very good! We loved this place. The only 3 negatives are, they have 5 pools. We thought they should have music playing at one of the 5 pools and the seaweed on the beach limits u from getting in the ocean. I know that’s not the fault of the resort cause they work around the clock to clean it up but if you are looking for beach action you will be disappointed. We stayed by the pool but you still head and see waves crashing so you get the same effect, you just can’t actually get in the water. The only other negative is there are no drinks other than water in your fridge or you pay extra. Every all inclusive resort we stayed at had drinks in the room stocked daily but here you only get water in the room. You can even rent a car right in the lobby. The area was very pretty and clean and plenty of places to get a drink. Overall we loved our stay.

The CBAY was a 5 minute ride from the airport. It was clean, staff was friendly, food was good. The biggest NEGATIVE for me was the beach (or lack of). The resort is on the Atlantic Ocean side of the island (you want to be on the Caribbean Sea side of the island). There is an abundance of seaweed every day. You cannot swim in the ocean. I felt like I never left NYC!!The hotel staff/crew make an effort every single day to remove the seaweed, but it doesn't help. If you're looking for that "Caribbean island clear blue waters" you will be disappointed. Another negative was that when we arrived on Saturday and tried to make dinner reservations, I was told that they did not have any availability until Monday night! This is an all-inclusive hotel, I've paid for my meals in advance, and I was stuck eating at the buffet for dinner, not acceptable! MEN - be sure to bring a pair of long pants/slacks, the staff WILL NOT allow you to enter the restaurants that have a dress code in resort wear/casual shorts. They turned my husband away. This dress code rule doesn't really make sense for me since the resort is all-inclusive and does not accept external Patrons for dinner anyways, so what's the deal with the dress code? They're not generating any external revenue for upscale dining. Positives - Friendly staff, clean rooms and hotel. Great drinks (they are NOT cheap on the alcohol - all top shelf liquor available). Great nightly entertainment. Great daily activities for the kids.

In reference to sodas and beer in the mini bar you are able to have your mini bar stocked on a daily basis upon request however, it does come with an additional charge for some room categories although it is included for others.
