Resort was very nice!! Food was great!!
The staff worked very hard but there simply aren't enough of them. This makes the waits at the reservation-required restaurants be very very long! The same applies at some of the take away food places. The hotel is incredibly clean but the entire place needs a make-over (dated rooms and bathrooms, chipped paint, rust, broken umbrellas, low ac abilities, etc). But the quality and diversity of the food was terrific (vegetarians), as were the pools, entertainment staff, activities, and the weather!
The rooms needs to be updated. The food and the entertainment is amazing.
The staff was awesome. We ended up moving to another resort only because the water was so rough on that side to where you couldn’t even use the beach. We are huge beach fans. The hotel refunded our money for the nites we didn’t stay and were great and understanding. They enforce the Covid restrictions so expect to wear a mask.
Coconut bay resort was a pleasure to stay at. It is a FREE 5-10 minute shuttle ride from the airport (compared to 1.5-2.0 hours at the other resorts). The staff is beyond friendly and helpful. Always pleasant towards guests. The food at each restaurant was surprisingly good! Calabash and Seaside were my favorites. The staff had reservations set up for us prior to arrival but that may be due to our concierge room we booked. We never tried the buffet, aside for breakfast so I cannot speak on how it is. For the late sleepers, the Veranda restaurant is open for breakfast until 11 (sit down breakfast). The buffet is open 7-10am. The concierge room we book also came with a choice of TWO bottles of your choice liquor and plate of a small appetizer/treat each day. If you stay on the harmony side make sure to check out the adults only poolside bar- Dillan makes sure everyone has a great time, haha! The Jerk treehouse which is poolside opened at noon and is amazing, a must try. Flip flops is also poolside opened at noon-6 (burgers, sandwiches, pizza etc) and then reopened 10pm-1am for late night food which was awesome! There was also a popcorn machine, fruit, yogurt, out during lunch hours. My only cons (nothing against the resort) is that it is in the Atlantic side so wavy and seaweed water and constantly windy. The wind was nice due to how hot it was. But neither of those are serious cons. There are plenty of pools and the lazy river to hang around.
Excellent place for couples to go once in there life
Fantastic family get away. Make sure to do the yoga and the water exercises with Trevor! He will push you so you are ready to relax the rest of the day. Food was pretty decent for an all inclusive resort.
Nice location for a short get away. Convienient to the airport. Stong winds blow off the water as you are on the south side of the island and the surf is a bit ruff. I would give it an 8 out of 10. A goo value for the money
This was our first time here and we loved it! The staff was very friendly and accommodating, the rooms were nice, food & drinks were amazing!! We would definitely come back. We did a day excursion with Joy's Adventure Excursions; took a boat ride, went for the "mud bath" and lunch. We had a group of 8 people and had a great time!
I had a wonderful time too bad it was cut short the staff was tremendous I felt sorry for them being out of A job.
Staff was very friendly. I was upset that they were unable to set up scuba diving due to not enough people.
Wish they would have room serve 24/7. Visited St. Maarten 2 years ago (Ocean Point Sonesta Resort) and really enjoyed the room service.
All were excellent - Staff, the ambiance, the property and the shuttle service.
