Beautiful place. Staff was friendly. only complaint I have is that I could not stay longer. Will definitely go back.

Nice hotel on the beach. We enjoyed using the resort's bicycles to tour the island and relaxed in the pool when it was windy on the beach. The on site restaurant was undergoing a renovation but the tiki hut was open and the drinks were delicious.

For the price you pay one would expect updated rooms. 2 queen beds barely fit in the space, was disappointed in furnishing. The bathroom felt straight out of 1970s, but the balcony view was amazing.

the required items make this a pain. Be thankful for what you get.

Other than the hectic checkin procedure, we enjoyed our stay. The location was great and the staff quite helpful.

The staff was friendly and always gave over the top service. We even had a complimentary bottle of wine waiting in our room when the front desk staff found out we were on our honeymoon! The views were incredible, the rooms were beautiful and very clean. Can't wait to go back!

The hotel appeared online to be fancier than it really was. It was fine but not so much that we would come back. The room was plain and basic. That said, the beach was nice, they had bikes we borrowed, and we saw an endangered tortoise on the grounds and a VERY COOL giant snake which we were thrilled by.

The hotel room was smaller than I thought it would be. The staff was super friendly and very prompt. The view was slightly obstructed due to being on the end of the building but it was still very pleasant. Rooms were well kept as well as everything else. Great place to stay!

The Sanibel Inn once again made us feel like home. There are many places to stay on Sanibel, but we always feel like the Sanibel Inn is the place to stay. It is always clean, comfortable, and priced right.

Wonderfully quiet and comfortable. Not luxurious. Thumbs up.

Sanibel Inn is a laid back comfortable place to stay. We enjoyed it.

The room had no water or any type of drinks avaliable...the lights didn't work...also charged my card an extra fee which was never mentioned when I booked the room.

We were greeted by Peter who was very informative about what to do. He also was able to get us into a suite which was very roomy. I am very picky about bedding and this was fantastic. Went to Doc fords for dinner, captive island and watched the sunset at Mucky Ducks. Make sure you visit Jungle Drums Gallery next door and at least by an original signed t-shirt. Head to Bowman Beach for great shelling, went to the farmers market in Cape Coral then head to walk the pier in Ft. Myers. Went to lovers Key and stopped at Bonita beach. Very quite and private. Have lunch at Docks Beach house and sit outside or on the beach.

The hotel is located on the beach with nice grounds and the rooms were cool, clean with little deferred maintenance. The screened in porch with hooks for drying bathing suits was a nice plus. We were in a room with 2 queen beds, small table with 4 chairs, small refrigerator, K-cup coffee maker (had to ask for more coffee at the front desk as they don't really re-stock it). The building overlooked the pool with limited ocean views from the first floor, and it wasn't too bad in terms of noise-but it is off season. The pool area is nice, they have a decent number of chairs and water toys for kids, and the beach had some chairs and umbrellas, but not a lot. Nice beach with lots of small shells and tons of sand dollars about 20' out. The day of departure, the maids started knocking at 9:30 to make sure we would be out of the room at 11:00 - despite the do not disturb card, which I find very irritating. We booked a package that gave us a $35 daily credit at the resort/hotel, but nobody said anything to us at check-in, and it was only when we asked about a late check out that they told us about this credit. We picked out some stuff from the gift shop, but then upon check out were informed of a "Package Plan" fee of $12.00 per day plus tax! Nothing on the reservation referenced extra fees, so I wasn't happy about that. We didn't try any of the restaurants, only checked out towels for the beach. I would stay here again, but now I know about the hidden fees.

This was a nice place to spend the weekend. The room was clean and conformable and the location to the beach was excellent. The only comment I would have was the food was tasty however quite pricy. Very relaxing and enjoyable weekend!

dirty room, rust in shower, mold and mildew in the bathroom, stained bed linens, stained upholstery on chairs in room.

The staff was very helpful and accommodating. Great location for shelling.

Everything was top notch, staff was excellent for the most part, especially about lost items. We did occasionally have to get items housekeeping forgot but overall the service was great and the room kept clean. Loved the beach location and shelling. We both got to totally relax and enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. Early on we started talking about not if we come back but when! Highly recommend this place for a relaxing vacation. JoAnn Miller

This Inn had a great location and an easy drive from the airport. It is nestled into the landscape of palms and other tropical vegetation. My room was clean and updated. Loved the kitchenette area with the refrigerator and microwave. The screened in porch/balcony was a great place to have a light meal or cocktails while overlooking the pool and beach. The tiki bar adds a nice touch for an afternoon drink or a lunch break from the beach. Take advantage of their bicycles for use on the miles of bike paths throughout the island. It was a great way to see some local sights.

The only thing that upset me about this hotel was that the towels, beach chairs, umbrellas, bikes and kayaks were included with the Inn. But at checkout, I had to pay $66.00 for all of those and for that reason, I will not go back there.

Hi Ken, Thanks for taking time to let us know how we are doing. I am glad that you were able to enjoy the wonderful view from our rooms and were able to enjoy the beach and shelling. I will let Management know about your review of the furnishings. We were renovated in 2012, but from time to time we need to be reminded. Thanks again and I hope that we get a chance to host you again if you decide to come back to Sanibel Island. Regards, Jason Trimble Rooms Control The Inns of Sanibel
