After unpacking and working for an hour, I climbed into bed to find the tv doesn't work. I reached for the phone to call the front desk, only to find the phone doesn't work. I then got dressed and stumbled down there to report the tv and, a half-hour or so later they could not get it to work, and not for the maintenance man's lack of trying. Turned out they have satellite. In the Mojave desert. One of the windiest places on the planet. They did offer a room upgrade but we were far too tired and, as stated above, already unpacked. An hour later my wife tried to make a cup of coffee only to discover that the Keurig does not work. So much for IHG as well as Orbitz.

This property needs renovation. We didn’t have hot water for shower at night or morning (front desk said they were at occupancy limit and it would take an hour to maybe get hot!). The rooms are old, bathrooms need renovation, beds were not comfortable. Staff were friendly but breakfast lines were terribly long and they didn’t even have potatoes, waffle maker was broken and pastries were super slow to come out.

First time I stayed at a Holiday in for a long time and very surprised by the mangers welcome early evening where they provided you with a drink and something to eat while meeting the manager and staff. Was a very pleasant change from the normal experience…Simple but exceptionally different
