I checked in late due to travel delays and I was met by 2 employees that seemed hesitant about letting me into the locked front door. This after giving them my license and credit card info through a window. After finally gaining access to the front lobby, I had to explain to them and show my Orbitz reservation on my phone. I then preceeded to wait 45 minutes because said employees weren't familiar with the Orbitz travel site. Upon finally getting my assigned room, I went to turn on the a/c when i saw dozens of ants in the room. I attempted to mentally block what i saw before coming to my senses and finding a room elswhere. Lesson learned. Next time, I'll pay extra for the comfort of a more reputable brand.
Yikes, the room was dirty and had a gross smell. I reserved the room based off the pictures but the photos must be super old or edited. The towels and bedding were stained, the floors were super gross, it looked like cooking oil was spilled in several spots and dirt stuck to it, there was a large spider and spider web under the under conditioner inside the room. The toilet paper location also sucked, you have to reach behind you basically to get to it. The location was OK. I didn't feel unsafe, it has a large parking lot near lots of restaurants, close to the highway. Of course because you're close to the highway you hear the noise, but it's a Motel so that's expected. The staff were friendly, no complaints there.
The heater was broken and front desk was not welcoming. The bed was comfortable.
Better to find a safe, quiet place and sleep in your car.
Stayed 2 nights. No room service was provided (clean towels, etc.) after the first night. The bathroom door would not unlock, and one of my children was stuck locked in the bathroom for more than an hour. Room smelled like smoke, and floors were dirty.
Was pleasant except the cleaning guy trying to come in at 7:30 in the morning.
Where do I start... AC half way worked, dust on everything, the skirts of the beds were covered in an unknown substance, musty smelling, sketchy characters hanging around the hotel at night... I rented a car after my first night because I was afraid my belongings would be stolen from my room. THE ONLY good thing I can thing think of is the free Waffle House breakfast and fun bar next door.
Sheets was dirty & the bathroom was to small. The hotel was right off the highway.
