Staff at the reception desk are terrible. They seem to be constantly busy doing something else on their computers while giving curt and nearly impolite answers to guests' queries. Somehow they turn very chatty if the guests happen to speak Italian. Oh well. There's WiFi only at the lobby. It's decent speed.

My boyfriend and I got to Venice at 11:30pm. We we're disturbingly surprised by the uncleanly appearance of the hotel and our room. The hotel carpet had bugs crawling all over it and did not appear to have been cleaned in months. Our room had dead bugs on the walls and the sheets were filthy. We ended up leaving the hotel promptly and finding a new place to stay for the night and following night. Would not even give it one star. DO NOT STAY THERE.

We stayed in this hotel. Stayed in the ground floor. Hotel is of low quality. Beds are really bad. Breakfast is bad. The reception staff was rude. The only positive is location. Very close to the train station.

The hotel is locating in the main street , walkable distance to train and bus stations. The breakfast was ok (ham, cheese, warm croissants, jam, cereal, juice and coffee). It's hard to decide what was the biggest let down. No wifi in the room or the room facing main street. We had a nice view but I would have preferred a good night sleep. The windows were old and not good at blocking the noise. The wifi was a good at reception fortunately.

This hotel is perfectly located close to the Port, Piazzale Roma, train station and Grand Canal. It's clean and comfortable with a very affordable price per night. They also offer a great breakfast. If I ever return to Venice, I'll stay here again.

A few minutes walk from exiting the train station. Restaurants, bars, shops, pizzeria, ice cream, souvenirs, attractions, water taxi, all within a few minutes walk. A great location. Hotel itself is O.K. What you would expect for rating.Carpets and furnishings are a little tired but acceptable for budget hotel and location. Room was ample size as was the bathroom. Enough room for luggage and storage space. Bedding was clean and comfortable, as were the towels. Breakfast was very very basic, personally I would have preferred to eat out. Upon check in we noted a leak from our basin which flooded the bathroom floor overnight. We had to make use of all of our towels to soak up the water until morning. We reported this as we ventured out for the day. We were told it would be fixed asap. To the hotels credit it was swiftly repaired and we had no further problem. Loved Venice. Its expensive to stay there though. We were on holiday from Australia for 5 weeks so staying somewhere more exclusive was not an option. Personally we are only in our room to sleep and shower. We prefer to spend every available minute discovering so do not waste precious time hanging about the hotel. This suited us fine. Worth considering.

We had only three nights in Venice and last time we stayed we trained in and enjoyed staying close to the railway station so booked there again. A few months before we arrived There wasn't much left in the under $200 Australian in the area... and we all know how expensive Venice is and how little you get for your dollars. Anyway... we booked here knowing what to expect ... a room with a bathroom and aircon in a great area... and that's what we got. Nothing fancy, but clean bathroom and linen and working wifi and aircon. Let's be honest... no one spends any time in their room in Venice unless they are sick.. it's a place you are out and about in from down to way beyond dark... so if all you want is a place to sleep that is clean. quiet and in a perfect central location .... this is it. Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby plus the ferry terminal and train station... simple.. Don't expect the ritz... but expect clean and functioning with helpful staff... all we needed

Nice quaint hotel. We were thankful the room was ready early and we could check in before noon. This gave us more time to go sightseeing. The room is average size, basic but clean. There is no lift so you need to carry your luggage up the stairs. Hotel is conveniently located, a stone throw away from the main train station. Many food places. The ferry terminal is a minute walk from the hotel. Bed is comfy and we had a good rest.

This is a perfectly acceptable hotel for a good price in Venice. You get what you pay for, in terms of basic functionality and decor, but it has what you need. It's in a very convenient location next to the train station and boat stops, and a good walking street. The staff was pleasant. The only minor issue we had were a mattress and pillows that were too firm for our liking.

This hotel has the best location for me when I visited and toured Venice. It's just 5 minutes away from the Sta. Lucia train station and very near the hotel were loads of shops and restaurants. For a three star hotel, it is not the best one. It's old but that's understandable because it's Venice, and very outdated hotel. The hotel is clean, service is alright and staff especially the front desk is always there to help you. It's a good value for money hotel that serves a modest breakfast.
