Wonderfully located far enough away from the crowds of St. Marks but easy to reach by water bus. Lovely restaurants just a few steps away from the front door as well as transportation via the water bus and the train station. Definitely a place to return to on our next visit.
Nice hotel removed from the craziness that Venice can be. Staff was accommodating and offered maps and detailed instructions to help us get to our destinations. Mini bar offered reasonably priced options. Bar tender made great drinks but was not overly friendly.
We enjoyed this hotel immensely. Although it is not near the main canal the walk is not to far and there is a waterbus stop right next to the hotel. Restaurants and shopping are close by.
I requested a 1 big bed and got 2 individual beds joined into 1 asked them to move us to another room for this reason and they assured us it be OK they just moved us to a new room same thing. Very uncomfortable to sleep cuddled in a bed like this and sad in such a romantic city.
Wonderful hotel away from the tourist areas. My husband and I visited Venice for our honeymoon and after looking at many hotels decided to stay at Carnival Palace and couldn’t be happier with or decision! The rooms were clean and welcoming. The staff was wonderful when we asked questions about restaurants and transportation. Highly recommended!
