Stayed here for three nights to celebrate our daughters birthday and found it was ideally situated just by Rialto bridge. Our room was small but quaint. Breakfast was good and our room was basic but clean and tidy ideal for a short stay. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Little hotel very central in Venice, about 100 meters from the Rialto Bridge ferry stop. Very convenient. Small rooms but clean and comfortable, Venetian styling quite fun, good shower but also very small. Be ready to climb a lot of stairs if your room is high up as there is no lift. Basic breakfast. Free good WiFi.
While we were staying in the same hotel, the breakfast was quite good and also we have lovely company.
We wanted a place which is near the Rialto bridge and this place came out to be dream come true. Beautiful view, clean Venetian architecture, and awesome service. Definitely worth its tariff and the location is the best.
The hotel was being refurbished during our visit so we were given an apartment accessible by a side entrance. We had one double room plus folding beds in the living room, which some of our party said were a little uncomfortable. The hotel is in a superb location, less than a one minute stroll from the Rialto Bridge, and we really appreciated staying in the heart of Venice. It isn't the most luxurious place we've ever been, but the central location more than made up for that.
The hotel had a strange odor to it that was quite unpleasant. Bed was extremely uncomfortable. Our shower head was actually broken - the hook was broken so you had to hold it the whole time, and they wouldn't fix it. Bathroom floor was so poorly laid it hurt to walk on - sharp edges. Many floors with only a few rooms on each floor - many stairs Terrible service - asked for a food recommendation and they said "No". I asked what they meant and they just said "No" again? Spoke fine english, just didn't want to give a recommendation. Excellent location though - never got lost because signs to Rialto are plentiful.
Yes, the hotel is not the best and is a bit run down but the location is perfect to explore the area close to the Rialto Bridge and beyond. All the request we did send to the hotel management to make our stay more pleasant was done by the management and the staff were very friendly and supportive. The room was small for a superior size room as well as the bathroom. The room was clean and quite at night, AC worked, bed comfortable, breakfast more than enough to get you going. Perfect location!!!!!!!
Quaint little hotel in an excellent location. Inside two alleyways, and we were fine with its location since all the streets in Venice are alleyways. Walking distance to the Water Bus Station, Water Taxi. the Rialto Bridge, which attracts a lot of tourists, main lanes near the canals and no bridges to cross. The hotel has five floors with no elevator. We were on the fifth floor; the concierge was helpful and took our suitcases up and brought them down and helped us to the Water Taxi on our last day. The room was clean yet small as well as the bathroom. The shower had a clogged drain and was not looked at during our stay. The staircase was dim and had to use the dirty railings going up and down. We planned our day accordingly, thus left after breakfast and returned after supper. I was okay going up the stairs once a day. The quality of the breakfast was disappointing. Very limited choice of food. The staff was friendly and helpful, but not professional and changed daily. They did recommend fantastic tours and knew the city quite well. The WiFi worked perfectly. I may consider staying there again because of its location but would ask for a lower floor.
A romantic holiday with my boyfriend for my 40th birthday. Checked in. Were told to sit and wait 15 min. After 30 min. the receptionist passed us, went to the hotel public toilet. Left the door open while he did his thing, and left without having cleaned his hands. 10 more minutes and we were showed to the room. The room was in an ally next to the hotel, up several dark stairs. It looked like an old lady's flat. A bit molded and dirty. The worst part though was the beds. Three folded out beds with absolutely the thinnest, worst mattresses ever. The pictures do not tell the truth here. The WiFi worked for about 2 minutes. Expensive and really BAD!
Service and staff were very good and attentive. Selection of food and drinks were good too. However, the quality of what was served was very disappointing, and prices could not justify what was served. Plenty of other places, better and cheaper, cannot justify going back
