We stayed in Charming Apartments for 3 nights on our first trip to Venice. The apartment was homely and we had some very good nights sleep and the addition of a teapot mean that I had could have a lovely cup of tea every morning, especially as I also travel with roentgens tea bags. The apartment was in a great location for us to explore Venice and the surrounding islands. We were close to the water bus stop and as we had bought a 3 day pass we travelled to Murano, Burano and Torcello as well as hopping on and off to go to St Marks Square and around the top of the island to Accadamica. We were close to many cafes and restaurants for our evening meals, but also close to the supermarket so we could buy food for breakfasts and snacks.
For the two of us, staying in the apartment was perfect. It was a lovely size, we had everything we needed and the location was perfect. The location was quiet, but you could easily get back in to main Venice. I just want to stress this didn't bother us, but for others a few more items in the kitchen might be helpful and maybe better clothes drying facilities!
It was a great experience..friendly staff, warmly environment..definitely recommend..when we had problem, they were solved it immediately..Charming apartment is really good for families, especially for kids...
Stayed here with my parents and my sister for 4 nights. We loved everything about this hotel, and we all agreed we would stay there again! We stayed in a room with 4 twin beds and it was perfect for our needs. The room was very clean with a large bathroom, the breakfast was awesome, the location could not have been better, and the staff was very pleasant and helpful. You are within a short walk of both the bridge and the San Marco Plaza as well as all the shops and restaurants. I can't imagine you getting a hotel this central for a better price. None of us had one negative to say. We would recommend this hotel without hesitation.
A warm welcome awaits at this hotel when you have found your way to it! Don't be afraid to ask for directions as the hotel is well known and everyone is happy to help visitors. The rooms are classical venetian in decor, clean and comfortable. We stayed for 3 nights and the towels were changed daily. The self service breakfast was suberb with a wide selection to choose from. The staff were friendly polite and very helpful. We would definitely book this hotel again were we to revisit Venice. Sue and Ann
The map supplied to direct us to the hotel was extremely helpful. The location was brilliant with a short walk to San Marco square, Rialto bridge and the local shop. The apartment was spacious. The view was lovely from the balcony. It can be a little noisy in the morning with boats passing. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you would need. The powder/tablets were supplied for the dishwasher and washing machine which was very convenient. The apartment was very clean but the only down side was there was a lot of limescale in kettle. The staff at the hotel were helpful and friendly giving us a refreshing drink on our arrival. Overall we had a fantastic time and would highly recommend.
We recently enjoyed a 3 night stay at Hotel Da Bruno, I cannot praise this hotel enough! It was clean, the staff were friendly, breakfast was plentiful and tasty and there are numerous places for evening meals within a couple of minutes walk of the hotel. We also stumbled upon the obligatory Irish Bar (approx. a 5 minute walk away, which was an unexpected bonus). The hotel was located centrally between Rialto Bridge and St Marks Square. I would certainly recommend the hotel to anyone, without hesitation.
This hotel is in a prime location. The staff were so helpful polite and nothing was to much trouble. Highly recommend it. Breakfast was lovely best continental breakfast we have ever had. We had an early flight back to the U.K they opened the breakfast area early so we did not miss out. Never had that before. Excellent. Anita
Great apartment, central location, quiet, complete and a wonderfull view. We enjoyed the apartment during our five day visit to Venice. Clean towels were supplied half way our stay and the bed was made. We cooked a lovely meal with fresh products from the market and treated ourselves using the dishwasher ;-)
We were in Venice for six nights in February and really enjoyed our stay at our apartment which was about 5 minutes walk from Rialto bridge and 8 minutes walk from Piazza San Marco. Check-in was at Hotel Da Bruno and staff were polite and friendly. They also walked us to our apartment which we really appreciated. Our apartment had a large entrance hall, two bedrooms and huge lounge. One WC next to the main bedroom and also another WC and shower room which was fairly small. The kitchen was small but really well equipped. The only thing lacking is counter space if you intend to cook a meal....which we didn't. The apartment is well heated and the wifi is excellent. There are lots of cafes and trattorias in the vicinity. The apartment is clean, well maintained and feels spacious and has touches of real character like wooden beams in the living room and a lovely mosaic floor in the entrance hall. Also, the main bedroom has a safe, plenty of storage space and ample hanging room with new wooden hangers. My only niggle was that the shower spray was a bit restricted as the head was damaged, but a very minor point in such a lovely apartment.
