This place is fantastic. It is in a central location between St Marks square and the Rialto bridge - about 300 meters to each. Lots of shopping and restaurants. What sets this place apart is the staff - so helpful and charming. It's not 5 star but has an Italian appeal with wallpaper and furnishings. I couldn't fault it and if I returned to Venice I would stay here again. We ran into some friends from Sydney who could not find their hotel and the staff went above and beyond to help them printing out maps and drawing directions for them. Such fantastic service.
It was very nice and joyful stay we had at the apartment. It situates in a nice location in the centre of Venice. The location is very convenient for shopping, eating, taking transports. It was walking distance from many famous sight seeing spots in Venice.
Located a few meters away from the busy centre the apartement was quiet, comfortable, with facilities nearby. Typically for Venice is that no elevator is available, however, one floor up using the stairs was not a big deal. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and, a supermarket and other shops were only a few steps away. Overall we enjoyed pur stay a lot.
Very nice, cozy and spatious apartment in the center of Venice. It's a perfect location to explore the city. It was clean and with its own private terrace. The stuff of the hotel is very kind and helpful.
Our room was ideally situated at the ground floor and we could see all the gondolas passing night and day. Very magical. The place was nice and spacious. Neat and tidy. However if you want to sleep in late be wary that there us plenty of noise comjng from the waters because of thr traffic. There are boats hooting from the early hours oc the morning. And just like other places we booked in Italy the receptionist was effecient but lacking in warmth. Sometimes they forget to say the most obvious thing when they first meet you. Welcome ...We hope you will have a pleasant stay at our place. Otherwise a very enjoyable stay at the apartments in charming venice
A few steps away from the Rialto Bridge, our lovely apartment was very comfortable with all amenities and excellent WiFi. The canal view was exceptional and provided 24-hour entertainment. The Hotel Bruno staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Quite pricey, but well worth it for a special stay.
Perfect service, a lot of attention and kindness, perfect location. We will surelly come back to this hotel and give to all friends the indication to go there when travell to Venice. We 3 would like to thank a lot to all the staff that made all efforts to help us in all matters and give us the best service.
Location was perfect. Can't say any more. Flat was huge!! Great value for money and a wonderful terrace to view the roof tops. So quiet and slept great. Kitchen supplies was comical. 3 forks, 10 knifes, 8 spoons, 1 wine glass, 2 mugs, I drinking glass and a kettle that leaked. I have informed the hotel so hopefully this will be fixed for the next people who stay.
We booked Charming Venice Apartments through Hotel da Bruno. When our teen boys entered our apartment, there were screams of delight. We had a beautiful, modern living room, full kitchen, and 2 bedrooms. It was modern, spacious, and beautiful. The entry way seems a bit dark and dreary, but the apartment was excellent. There was a pizza place, fruit market, and some restaurants just on a street a block away so it was very convenient. Overall, it was one of the best accommodations on our Italy trip. Communications prior to our stay was excellent. They were very thorough in providing directions on how to get to hotel from the airport.
Stayed at the Hotel Da Bruno between the 8th and 13th August, from the moment we arrived to the moment we left were were treated with the up most respect from a friendly, knowledgeable and professional team. The hotel is very clean and run very well by all team members. The breakfast was plentiful and enjoyable, plenty to help yourself to from fruit, to pastries, cheeses, meats, breads, croissants, toast and pancakes. I do agree the egg machine was not very inviting but we didn't try it so can't comment on the quality of the eggs, but everything we did try was really good. The room was rather small and had a view of a wall (but typical for many places in Venice), but it was clean, comfortable and quiet and the house keeper did a really great job of keeping it spotless for us. We did ask for a larger room as we were there to celebrate our wedding anniversary, unfortunately they advised the hotel was fully booked. When we returned from a walk there was a bottle of prosecco waiting for us with two glasses as a gift from the management for our anniversary, how wonderful of them. The Murano glass throughout the hotel is beautiful. We had a fabulous stay and the location and service was perfect, we would not hesitate in recommending this hotel and would like to stay there again when we next visit Venice. The location was 10/10 you could pop back for a rest / siesta and be back at Rialto or St Marco's Square within a few minutes, just perfect. Do not be worried to ask the gentlemen on Reception for any advice, they were always very helpful and have excellent knowledge of what to do, where to go and where to eat. Thank you Hotel Da Bruno for a wonderful stay and a wonderful trip on a beautiful boat over to Murano.
