At first, this hotel is very hard to find. There is no big sign or anything. It is literally right across from Louis Vuitton. There is a little sign in the ground. You have to go through a little ally to the entrance. We opted for a standard room. It's pretty small but that is what we expected and we knew we were going to be spending most of our time out sightseeing anyways. Room was clean and comfortable. There is a cute rooftop terrace which is nice to sit and enjoy a drink. The breakfast was nice - your standard European offerings. Front desk staff were great in assisting with questions and giving their recommendations on what to do and where to eat. Close to just about everything, which is great.
Myself and my partner spent 4 days here for my 40th birthday, it's very difficult to find but if you find the Louis Vuitton shop it's literally an alley way directly facing ... at first glance we were not impressed by we're offered an upgrade very cheaply with reception and I can honestly this hotel exceeded our expectations it's perfect location, it's so Venetian and homely and the man on reception Bruno was amazing he gave us invaluable info on how to get around .. one last tip they do not have any irons apparently they are banned in Venice by the fire brigade I was told to bring clothes to reception and they will be ironed for me only to be told on check out I would be charged 12 euros and was not told before then. all in all lovely place to stay
Great position next to Piazza San Marco and to the Vaporetto stops. Clean and staff very helpful. Gave us a lot of tips where to eat, what to see. Has a beautiful Rooftop terrace which is sure to be great in the summer.
The hotel location just too close from everywhere, the reception so helpfull, you will tell you all information which helped to find a nice place and lovely traditional food. 3days already enough to walk around venice which close to each other/area.
The Hotel Firenze is conveniently located a block from St Mark’s Square. It’s easy to overlook the entrance, since it is in an internal courtyard. Look for a small doorway with the name of the hotel underneath it. I booked a single, which was small even by Venice standards. The bathroom was modern and everything was clean. The breakfast room is pleasant and the food is plentiful. The strength of the place is it’s staff. They are boundlessly willing to help, with good English and great dining ideas. Venice has become a crowded mess, and needs to be taken in measured doses. Retreating to this hotel gives you a nice break from the insanity
We were in Venice on the 24th August 2017. A very memorable one! because it took us quite a while to find the hotel, but when we find it, it was what we were looking for. The service was excellent, very helpful staff and accommodating. The room was small, but neat and pretty and most of all very clean and it had all the things that we needed for the day we were there. The location was excellent, so close to everything we wanted to visit and see for a limited time we had, because we have to catch our cruise ship the following day. The breakfast was very good, they cater for people who have dietary requirements, like myself who is gluten and dairy intolerant. Next time I am visiting this part of the woods, it will be good to know that this hotel is there and I certainly would book there again.
We visited in 2016 & loved the location and the views. Located in Venice, water taxi close by as well as anything else you want to see. They offered free breakfast every morning, free wifi also. Every morning I would grab a cappuccino and climb up to the rooftop to enjoy the spectacular views. The hosts were amazing and helpful. They held our luggage at checkout so we see more of Venice.
This hotel is in a great location. It is a 5-minute walk from the water taxi and centrally located so everything is close by. Our room was street-side and the noise from the street may be a drawback for some, but we enjoyed being serenaded by the accordion player each evening. The staff could not have been nicer or more knowledgeable. If you stay, you must enjoy their breakfast offerings - the breakfast room is charmingly elegant and the food is very good. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend to family and friends.
Me and my sister stayed at Hotel Firenze for three nights. The Hotel is really charming, a true gem in the center of San Marco. A good place to explore Venice since the vaporetto station is really just a minute walk away. The rooms are smaller but pretty, very clean, and it's very quiet at night so you can get a good night sleep. Breakfast is delicious and there's plenty to satisfy any needs. The rooftop terrace is sheer beauty, overlooking the city rooftops. I suggest you get up early in the morning before breakfast (which starts at 7:30) just to take a walk around the center since there are no crowds at that time (+ you can get a beautiful sight of a near empty San Marco square). But the best thing about Hotel Firenze is the staff. All are too friendly. One of the receptionists (Andrea) was really sweet, offering insider tips about anything that interests you about the city, where the locals eat, where the cool bars are, what parts/places are a must to explore and which ones to better avoid...He writes it all down on a map but be sure to listen well since he's quite a fast talker :-). I have to conclude that, especially since we didn't have a definite plan on what to do in the city except to visit the Biennale (the main reason for our visit), his recommendations made our stay just perfect. Thank you!
We just spent two nights at this lovely hotel It is in a perfect spot for a quick visit to Venice like we had. Easy to find just off st Marco square. The staff were really helpful with places to visit advice, which was appreciated. The hotel is set amongst the high end fashion shops and is s great little 3 star option. Nice rooftop bar as well for when you first arrive In venice. Ask the staff about their restaurant recommendations as the two we tried were great authentic Venetian food. Breakfast is good. Would stay here Again
