Ca'Bragadin is located in an obscure alley just off Campo San Marina, about 10 minutes from the RIalto Bridge. Location is convenient for major museums and S. Marco. Our room 307 was spacious, well-appointed and had a lovely balcony view of the plaza. We enjoyed the continental breakfast in our room. The reception staff was extremely helpful, and we enjoyed his restaurant recommendations, including the pastry shop, RIstorante alla Milion and Ristorante San Marina. Highly recommend the Ca' Bragadin.
Cannot fault this hotel, great location, staff are very friendly - Hotel was difficult to find at first but was fine after Room was very spacious and extremely clean - we will be staying here again when we return to Venice thank you
Hotel is a little tricky to find but if you do a bit of research on the route from the Rialto to the hotel before you go it makes a huge difference and is then only a 5minute walk. The reception is 1 floor up so may be a bit of hassle for any with lots of luggage. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We had the top floor flat apartment so had to climb 3 flights of stairs but that didn't bother us. The flat was excellent and had a nice power shower with bidet and toilet. The TV didn't work but that didn't bother us. The first 2 nights we didn't have air con but on the third day the guy on reception said they had fixed it and the remote had been put in the room, this made a big difference for the last night of our stay and made sleeping easier. The only downside of the room was noise, even though we were at the top of the building we could hear any noise outside and when other people came up the stairs. Overall it's a good three star hotel and I'd not hesitate to stay there again if I ever went back to Venice.
We mostly had a nice experience at Ca' Bragadin and would recommend it to future visitors, but with a few caveats. First the good news: the hotel staff could not have been more pleasant and accomodating. Also the location is nicely central without being right in the middle of St. Marks Madness. And the rates were reasonable, the room spacious, and the breakfast buffet better than expected. (Not great, but surprisingly good. The automatic coffee machine makes a very fine americano.). The bad news: noise. Campo Santa Marina is right outside the window. About 0700, every day, deliveries begin to be dragged across the cobblestones and, my God, it sounds like Patton's first army is launching an invasion. And it goes on and on. The problem is worsened by the management refusing to allow the use of the air conditioner because "it's cold at night and wouldn't be appropriate." This was the middle of May, and I found the room very stuffy unless the windows are open. Dear Ca' Bragadin: if you include air conditioning in your advertisements, then the decision to use it should be up to the customer, not the hotel. If the air conditioner had been allowed, i'd have rated the hotel 4 stars.
This truly was a fantastic hotel and the staff was exceptionally helpful. Umberto was extremely helpful. He was able to set us up with complimentary water taxi from the hotel to Murano as well as a complimentary tour of the glass factory. He was very knowledgeable about the local restaurants and we were able to steer clear of tourist traps. We truly loved our stay in Venice.
We had a wonderful one night visit to Venice! The hotel was lovely. Very clean and comfortable. A little difficult to find at first. Staff was very helpful and pleasant! Very much enjoyed and would highly recommend. Looking forward to coming back and staying longer!

It was a great stay. The staff kindly gave us the breakfast for free, as an upgrade, because they knew it was a very important trip for me an my mother. Close to Rialto Bridge, it was very easy to walk around all Venice from there. Definitly recommend to others.
Staff was incredibly nice and helpful. Location perfect for Rialto Bridge and Piazza San Marco. Clean. Good breakfast. Room was too dark even during the day, but good. We recommend and would definitely stay again.
This is the first time I have had to complain about a hotel. When booking it said there was a "private bathroom" which is true, but I did not realise it meant it was not en-suite! So do watch out for that. Also the shower had lots of mould in it. I complained to the hotel staff on 2 consecutive days. They said they would clean it, but they didn't. I was really unimpressed with this place and would not recommend it at all. Also- if you have already booked- there is a small plaque on the road to advertise the place. It is not especially easy to spot.
