Shared toilet was clean and kept stocked. Shower is in the corner of the room, which we got a kick out of. No lift available and stairs are a bit steep with luggage. Lots of eateries nearby.

It was an adorable property, but what made the stay was the woman running the property. She helped us out from the very beginning of booking the room. Kept in touch and helped us get to the property. Helped us get our luggage to the second floor. Helped arrange for help when we left for the airport.

The room was alright, with air conditioning. Bed was clean and comfortable. As everything in Venice, it is a bit small and you have to climb stairs to get to it and into it. We communicated through the staff of the pizzeria next door to check in and when there was a problem. The restaurant is good!

It was a strategic location, easy to find and to visit the city. The things we didn’t like were the quality of the paint on the walls, specifically around the shower and curtains not wide enough, too much brightness when the sun comes up. Disappointing Shower Experience The room itself was OK, but the shower situation completely ruined the stay. The main showerhead didn’t work at all, and when I called the front desk, they said it was broken and I had to use the handheld sprayer instead. The handheld barely had any water pressure—just a trickle—and it was impossible to even rinse shampoo out of my hair. By the time the third person tried to shower, the water had turned cold, and the handheld sprayer came off the wall. When I mentioned all this at checkout, the front desk staff came to inspect and claimed we had broken the sprayer ourselves. She also insisted that the weak water pressure and lukewarm temperature were “normal.” If you care about having a functional shower during your stay, I’d strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

Well worth it

This place was great. Very convenient location… with a stroller and multiple bags, we essentially just had to cross the major bridge by the train station and a semi bridge and everything else was flat. The front desk while not always there was very clear and nice when we had to get things done. It was pretty easy. The bathroom seems very modern as if it was recently renovated. Not the brightest light in the bathroom but good enough.

When i booked this room the reviews were not as bad. When i got the albergo i understand is a 1 star hotel but the conditions were unacceptable the toilet was located all the way in the third floor shared by everyone staying the hotel. in my case i had a private shower. but as a person who really doesn’t care about the stays this was unacceptable i’ve stayed in various 1 star hotels in this trip and they have all been clean and with private bathrooms . I think this should not be considered a hotel, it should be considered like a more elevated hostal. Beware when booking here. It’s also located near the station but a 30 minute walk to Piazza San Marco . The area looks very rough and sketchy at night.
