The property is outdated. There were some renovations made but in a very sloppy way. Everything is just not thought through well. Access to the parking is difficult, you have to climb stairs with luggage to and from parking, the elevator is old and slow. No one dines in the adjacent restaurant. If you get a good price for the reservation, it's ok but our rate was pretty high and I was very disappointed

Overpriced, old

Old, tired and needs a refresh. Insane prices for what should be a 2 star hotel. Dated rooms which were at least clean enough. Lobby looks nice but then you get upstairs and realise how low budget the place is. Would not stay again, particularly not for the price.

The room had no daily room make up service unless you asked for it and that was not even mentioned to me upon check in. Coming back to a dirty room after a long day was disappointing. The next thing was the shower, the nozzle is plugged and it barely runs out. They changed the head but it never improved it at all. The main door has a 2” opening on the bottom. The light came in from then main hallway right into the bed so I had to use towels to shut the light off. I told them, nothing came of it. The restaurant, although ran as a separate entity is in the hotel. They serve the food with jam packets and peanut butter packets on top of the freshly cooked food. very unsanitary. For the price of the rooms, the hotel is a 1-2 star charging as a 4-5 star.

We stayed at the Grand Park Hotel & Suits from the 6th of July until the 11th. Upon check in I asked the front desk not to have cleaning services come in which was clearly ignored. On the 9th of July the maids entered our room without my permission and cleaned. During their cleaning the stole a $400 pair of Bose Headphones along with the case for our other pair of Bose headphones(luckily enough, we had taken that pair with us out on an excursion along with our iPads). I returned to notice that the headphones were not placed on the desk where we had left them and that the room had been cleaned. I immediately called down and asked why the maids had entered our room despite me asking not to clean. I was told that request had been taken off of our account to which no one could tell me why it was taken off. I then proceeded to tear apart the room to look for them to which they were not found. I did however find black mold all along the ac unit. When speaking with the manager Shivam he basically laughed and said that there was nothing that they could do and that they had questioned their employees. Speaking to choice hotels customer service was equally As deplorable With nothing being resolved. When reading into some of these reviews, I noticed that there has been a high amount of theft go on within the hotel regarding staff, but it seems that it just gets pushed under the rug. When speaking to Vancouver police they said it was also very common for This to happen at Low rated hotel
