The smell of marijuana on our floor. Do not recommend families with kids. Orbitz has no descriptions about a 500-dollar security deposit hold.

This is our second stay at Waterside - the first in 2014. Waterside is definitely " on the skids". The location is lovely. The hotel is "pleading" COVID to explain no cleaning in room, no changing of sheets, no making of beds, no cleaning of corridors. If you are lucky there is someone at the reception (not hiding in the office) but do not expect to be greeted. This is our 2nd. and last stay. We spoke to owners of businesses in the area and they also confirmed that other Waterside guests had complained to them. This is a sorry situation but heh we have all experienced COVID and understand that we have to recover - Andrea

good location and nice staff. It was a good surprise to see that the rooms were somewhat luxurious but bathroom was a bit outdated.

A great property with spacious rooms. The restaurant is excellent in quality of service, menu and service. Really top notch. Great location for shopping and walking.

Our 7th floor room faced Lake Ontario which gave us great views of the lake and sunrise (this was just a one night stay). It's a block from the main road which is good and bad. The good is proximity to restaurants but the bad, on our stay it was a loud night on the streets, otherwise its a wonderfully quiet location. The hotel is very clean and spacious with a full kitchen. The downside to our room was a broken washer/dryer and the hotel was fully book except for one room with a view of the main road. The staff tried to help and in the end they didn't charge us for parking which was very nice of them. I can not say if someone broke the washer/dryer and didn't say anything...but probably more than likely was the case.

We enjoyed every bit of our stay at The Waterside Inn. Very comfortable, clean, great staff, great restaurant.

We are repeat customers. Wonderful views. Updated suites. Always enjoy ourselves at this place and highly recommend. Good value for the dollar as well. Friendly front desk

Great location and beautiful room. It can be better maintained. I wasn't expecting a kitchen in my room. Certainly helped.

Great location and view . Furniture needs some updating

I had expected a one bedroom suite but got an efficiency instead. The renovation to the front entrance has been going on since my last visit in October and is still going on. This is inconvenient and we had to use a side entrance. During the time of our visit, there was only one working elevator. This one elevator was also briefly out of order, and my room was on the 10th floor!!

The hotel is very lovely and the rooms are well appointed. The kitchen shades/blinds were broken as several slats were missing. Everything else in unit was nice and clean. My concern is the not so friendly staff except for the wonderful housekeeping staff and maintenance. I interacted with several hotel personnel ( front desk, restaurant, bell staff) and literally NO ONE smiled or appeared eager to be helpful. I must point out that Ash was least friendly of all staff. No one was rude, but not very welcoming. Housekeeping and maintenance personnel, on the other hand, were all pleasant.

Enjoy the staff, rooms were very spacious and beautiful, great views

Looked at the bay! Love having an outdoor balcony! Washer in dryer in the room!

Excellent location. Very good restaurant. All rooms are suites.Lovely view of the harbor and the lake. Many shops and restaurants nearby.

Mattress was very firm. Not the most comfortable bed to get a good nights sleep

The Waterside was like a small apartment. It had a small kitchen, lots of closets and even a small washer dryer. We were in walking distance to many bars and restaurants. I would highly recommend the Waterside.
