This hotel is a great choice for family or business. It’s an older hotel but they have done regular updates. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast selection and staff are wonderful. For those interested Monday to Thursday evening they have a delicious complementary evening meal. We were here as a family for medical visits to the Meditech Clinic on Horner Avenue, usually about a 20 minute drive. The parking lot of the hotel felt very safe including the area around there.
Always come here , really clean , staff really useful and nice , prices did go up every year , which think is more thank 10 or 20 dollars a night per year , but around this area , this is only hotel that has always raised to expectations
I stay at the Homewood Suites every spring for several nights while in Mississauga on business. This hotel has everything you need; clean rooms, comfortable bed, good complimentary breakfast and wonderful staff. There is also a pool and fitness room. They serve a complimentary light evening meal in case you don't feel like eating out. The rooms have more of a small apartment feel with a sitting area and small kitchen allowing you to spread out. The staff are truly helpful and nothing is too much trouble. I returned home late one evening and was buying a microwave meal for dinner and the front desk staff went to the back room to get me a couple of oranges to go with my meal. What a nice gesture. The general manager is a credit to the hotel and is always around to make sure you are enjoying your stay. I will certainly be returning next year.
This is the best Homewood Suites in all of the Hilton world. Drucilla at the Front Desk is the sweetest person I've met at a hotel. On a scale of 1-10 I would rate her at least a 25! The breakfast is very good and the dinners are more than just soup and salads.
Anyone looking for a park, fly, stay hotel should definitely stay at Homewood Suites. Room was clean and very spacious, and supper comfortable. The staff made our check-in and check-out easy and convenient. The airport service is second to none even with a late arrival. Thanks to all staff from Homewood Suites
We recently stayed here for my daughter's hockey tournament and it was a great stay. The staff went out of their way to welcome 3 hockey teams for the weekend. Upon check-in, they gave each player a gift bag with snacks and drinks! Our stay pushed into Easter weekend and on Saturday after our room was cleaned, we returned to find an Easter note from the staff and 2 chocolate bunnies! There is always fresh coffee on in the lobby and the staff are so accommodating. Rooms are large, clean and have a multitude of amenities. There was even an outdoor basketball court for the kids! Overall, just a great place to stay!
We paid over $150 per night for a 1 bedroom suite for 2 nights. The room was very cramped and small for the 4 of us. The pullout couch was very uncomfortable and had crumbs all over it when we pulled it out. Pretty disgusting. The hot tub was "under maintenance" which was a bummer and the kids thought the pool was kind of gross. Breakfast was ok. Nothing spectacular. Definitely not worth the price. I probably would not stay here again. The boys did enjoy the basketball court. That was a nice surprise. The front desk staff were very nice.
We made arrangements for our wedding guests to stay at the Homewood Suites. Leading up to the weekend we visited the hotel twice to go over the details and had high hopes for our stay. We had wanted to supply our guests with hangover bags for their rooms. The staff advised they would be also supplying welcome bags so the items could all be combined. The Friday evening before I provided the hotel with 23 bags of Powerade and Tylenol for our 21 reserved rooms (including bridal suite). We had no idea the bridal suite would not be provided with this welcome bag. We woke up the day after our wedding having to purchase Gatorade from the hotel for $8 as we were told there was no bags left. Unsure how this got messed up but later heard my parents room also did not get one but my uncle's room was provided with two?? We had even brought extra to avoid anyone getting missed out. We reserved the hotel shuttle from 4-530 to transport guests to our venue. My parents were late for photos because the shuttle arrived late for our reserved time. I had added a room to our wedding group prior to our cut off date. When that couple checked into the hotel the front desk failed to take their credit card information for their room. My credit card was charged for this additional room. By the time we figured out what the additional charge was we ended up just paying for it. Overall the hotel is nice but our stay for our wedding was such a complete disappointment and I would not recommend group stays here. Such simple things were missed and the attention to detail was truly lacking.
The apartment was small but had everything we needed. Front desk staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Mini convenience shelves at reception were handy for detergent and other basics. Quite practical. It was a cold Christmas and the kids loved the complimentary candy, hot drinks and cookies. Nice stay overall!
I had a nice stay at this property last week. The hotel and rooms are relatively new, clean and modern and the window soundproofing is very good - on occasion one can hear airplane engines (nothing can be done about that) but normal noise like trucks or motorcycles was non-existent. I unfortunately had three minor issues during this stay - I'm sure these are non-recurring issues and won't dissuade me from visiting again, but I did want to make them known: 1) though the room was clean, the toilet seat did have a stain on it (I will refrain from elaborating, but readers should understand), 2) one of the two elevators was out of operation, which caused delays at times and 3) the printer in the business office was also not working and I was unable to print out my boarding pass for the next day. In all, it was a fine stay at a fine property and I'm sure these issues I experienced were transitory. This is a good choice if you're staying in the YYZ area.
