This hotel is as much an art gallery as it is a hotel. It is is also very well updated while still retaining all the unique character of its age.
The hotel is super unique always something going on downstairs.
Within walking distance to many galleries, restaurant, bars, parks, really fun place. Great restaurant and bar inside the hotel as well
The Gladstone is a beautiful hotel in a vibrant neighborhood, and it’s staffed by friendly people. I loved that the public areas of the hotel serve as art galleries and that each room is uniquely decorated by different artists. The hand-operated elevator is another unique feature.
Great location, interesting room & public areas with local art. Very active community venue for events. Excellent bar & food.
Amazing building, clean rooms, friendly staff and great location! Everyone should stay at the Gladstone!
We chose this location mainly because if it's proximity to the Molson Amphitheatre, but it was still a pretty long walk of +30 minutes. The front desk staff was friendly but informed us that they would have to escort us to our room every time we needed to go to it, since the electronic door keys were out of order....kind of a nuisance. The room was tiny but clean! It was cool having a tablet with free Wifi. The bed was pretty comfy but creaky! The decor in the biker standard room was unique. Overall, an enjoyable stay!
Loved the location, great walking distance for the event I was attending. The amenities were fine (the shower was a bit small). The room was spotless and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Great value for a busy weekend in Toronto.

Hey Steve! Thanks so much for your review! You're gonna make us blush! The Gladstone is turning 131 years old this year! We love being a funky, art-driven hotel. Our art is always changing so there will probably be a bunch of new stuff if you decide to come back! Thanks so much!
