Excellent nice, view good peop let nice beds noce, city great people
Good overall but they has two rooms booked for me I booked one room they said they fix it I never did get a refund. There was what looked like blood on the ceiling to but the rest of the room was clean.
I was looking for a simple place to stay with my gf at an affordable price. didnt expect much for the price but it turned out just fine. Highly reccomend this hotel
We stayed two nights there. The staff just said "hi", no warm welcome, no introduction to anything. There is no possibility to air the room. The ac only circulates the air in the room. The hair dryer did not work.
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Dirty, rusty tubs, rooms were not made up next day, had to chase down more toilet paper and towels, electricity went out in the morning, so no breakfast as the hotel did not have back up generator. Halls were totally dark and unsafe. Extra beds, refrigerators, etc. stacked up in the emergency exit, etc. etc. Do no stay at this hotel!
the staff was very nice and helpfull.hotel is out of the way of some things but it was walking distant from alot of eateries.
I stayed at this hotel for one night when I needed to come to Toronto for a funeral. The service was terrible- the front desk attendant was rude and short with me and my family. My room was filthy. It was really old, and very dirty. There were blood stains and holes in the bathroom wall, and a shower drain FULL of hair from prior guests. I called the front desk to ask for maid service given that my room was disgusting. She told me that there is no cleaning overnight (which is fine), and that they wouldn't even come in until at least 9am the next day! Needless to say, I'll never stay at this chain of hotel again.
large room,not new but decent.
Upon arrival at 245PM, the lobby was full of people waiting to check in and there was only l inn keeper...it took at least 30 min for myself to check in and when I got to my room, I wanted to make a call to relatives advising them I arrived.....the phone did NOT work.....the heater in the room had several knobs broken....the inn keeper at least gave me another room.....as soon as I went tio the bathroom, there was at lest 1" of water inbathtub and dripping from faucet.....I advised inn keeper and I left and came back around 11PM....bathroom still not repaired.....I could not take a shower for 2 days...I would not recommend this to anyone. Infact, this was not my first Days Inn in Toronto area tochoose, I wanted one closer to relatives but they would NOT allow me to change from one Inn to theother......
The price was right for us since we were not going to be in the hotel room much. Unfortunately, the first floor hallway smelled like cat urine. The hotel staff was not terribly friendly. And, when I asked about getting to a mass transit stop, the desk attendent sent us on a wild goose chase that almost made us miss our event. It would be helpful if the hotel had an area map and could show where the mass transit hubs are. Since this was a suburb of Toronto, I'm sure they must get alot of travelers that are going to be headed into Toronto during their visit.
My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel thinking that it would have been a good hotel but it's more like a motel. The rooms are not clean, the location has nothing appealing in its vicinity (i.e. restaurants, entertainment, shopping, etc.). The hairdrier didn't even work in our room. I would not recommend this particular Days Inn to anyone.
The rooms and service were not exceptional but perfectly adequate. The hotel's location is OK if you just want to hang around in the neighborhood - e.g., it's within walking distance to a beautiful garden park overlooking the lake - but it's a bit far away from downtown or from the freeways: takes a long time driving through local streets to get anywhere. But overall, a good place to stay for the price.
Our room wasn't horribly clean and the continental breakfast was very unimpressive. That said, the room was cheap and the hotel location wasn't awful considering it was on Kingston Road in Scarborough.
A fine hotel with good staff, and perfect due to the prices..
I really enjoyed my stay at the Days Inn but wish we stayed a bit closer to the city. We attended a concert at The Sound Academy on Polson St. and our cab rides there and back cost $30 each. The room was clean and quiet and the staff was quite friendly. The complimentary breakfast was also quite good. We were surprised that they provided apples and bananas in addition to the typical bagels, muffins and cereal. We weren't in our room long but we enjoyed our one night stay at the Days Inn. It is the best priced hotel in the area if you don't plan on commuting to the city by cab.
I just slept there. It was little bit noisy in the night.
This Days Inn is located 2 miles from where I was doing bussiness.I spent very little time there other than sleeping.
