Traditional style ryokan, lovely team

A lovely way to try a traditional ryokan style, comfortable and good value. Great customer service and a short walk to the metro.

ITO RYOKAN

Situé pas trop loin de la station de métro Ningyocho (500m), nous avons été accueilli, ma femme et moi, superbement bien. Les personnes qui nous ont prit étaient extrêmement gentils et plus que serviables (vraiment adorables), sans compté que les dames qui nous ont reçu parlait extrêmement bien Anglais. Nous avons même entendu une personne jouer du Shamisen avec quelques chants. Nous étions arrivés bien plus en avance que prévu (12h au lieu de 15h, heure de prise de la chambre), et pourtant, nous avons pu nous installer dans la chambre afin de pouvoir déballer nos affaires et nous reposer du transport. La chambre est dans le style traditionnel japonais, à savoir avec des tatamis, une petite table au sol avec deux coussins, et nous devions, comme la tradition le veut, installer nous-mêmes nos futons qui étaient rangés dans une armoire. Il y a deux douches au RDC ainsi qu'une salle de bain commune avec une baignoire au premier étage que nous pouvons réserver à l'heure souhaité dans la journée. Celles-ci étaient extrêmement propres et rangées, et ce fut un plaisir de se reposer une petite demi-heure dans la baignoire après s'être lavé à l'extérieur (salle de bain traditionnelle japonaise en somme). Le petit déjeuner (pour 500 yens par personne) est fait maison et est extrêmement bon et copieux (pour ma part, j'avais prix un petit déjeuner japonais, et ma femme un déjeuner plus "européen"). Bref, ce Ryokan est un vrai bijou, une vraie merveille. Je recommande à 300% !
